Seriously, the Iowa state capitol is amazing. One of the greatest capitol buildings out there, which is saying something. The one in Topeka is great too.
Love KC. Lived down there for two years. Shocked how Jay Hawk it was. I figured it was more Mizzou. Nope. Total Jay Hawk town. St Loius is more Mizzou.
One of the best rivalry, lost in the shuffle of college sports.
As for the Iowa Capital, it is super nice. Reminds me of a smaller, different version of KC.
But we are tired of them and Iowa City dominating because they get all the tax dollars.

I was just talking about the capitol building. I haven’t spent much time touring the rest of Des Moines. The downtown area wasn’t bad.

Thought this UConn team was overrated coming into the year, and they didn’t seem that impressive in the early games. Couldn’t figure out why everybody was picking them to cruise through Maui.
Hurley had a couple loaded teams in down years (talent-wise), and everybody anointed him Wooden.
Can’t believe Luke Murray hasn’t been poached.
Yeah, it isn't like Hurley suddenly became some basketball mastermind after basking in mediocrity for his first dozen years as a head coach, averaging almost 13 losses a year. Perfect storm came along and he caught lightning in a bottle for a sweet 2 year run.
