I'm guessing he meant assaulting. But I'm sure every fanbase on the planet has a fan that has gotten in a drunken fight at a bar. Seems like a stretch either way on that one.
I think he likes to stretch. I'm pretty sure we all could point out a number of things we know or 'have heard' about what players have done from our rival schools.

Reid and Bucknell definitely got into a brawl though. I don't think most people blamed them considering the circumstances though. If you want to get into rumors about sleeping with other people we can do that. There are other rumors we could roll with, one I know is true. I've tried to always avoid those sort of things though. I leave that type stuff to people on the home boards.
Not sure what any of that has to do with being a dirty program. I mean, two guys defend themselves and get into a brawl and are suspended. Yeah, shame on Dean for not letting them skate I guess. Probably should have let it happen three times or so before giving them an indefinite suspension. That would apparently be more appropriate.

once again you deflect it is a matter of public record that they were convicted of assault and battery.You were put on suspension for involvement in the point shaving in the sixties.Tripping someone in the heat of agame is the same as two athletes putting 9 stitches in a 170 pound kid in a bar.Dean’s coverup of Phil Fords DUIs are matters of public record.Please name another program who has the same history.There are many more instances showing the same systemic disregard for rules.So I will stand by my characterization of being one of the dirtiest programs ever

Again, the people got what they wanted with those two. They pushed them until they fought back. Shouldn’t have done it but they were punished. Maybe Dean should have stressed more how they were the victim or misunderstood. You know, like every Duke player who ever screws up.

It has gotten so bad, I don't even go out in public on game days. I also put duct tape over everything that says Duke on it.

Today is actually the 48th anniversary of the Dead's famed Warehouse New Orleans show, where they were indeed busted on Bourbon Street after being set up like bowling pins.
Not to worry though, they returned for 2 more nights after making bail. Fleetwood Mac opened up all 3 nights.

There's a difference in being okay with Allen's history and not blowing everything he does out of proportion. I only responded to an elementary student's comment on the topic. I didn't defend him. I feel like some of you want to see him hung on a burning cross. I just want him to make his shots and ignore the noise. He seemed to have stepped up a bit last night.
