I'm always bitter about burnt coffee tongue. Doesn't take that long to heal, but it sucks every time.

Every weekend I sit with my coffee and my breakfast sandwich. I enjoy it. Two sugars and a good helping of heavy cream. I like my coffee to taste like a dessert

Go cold brew my dude. I have the same issue with regular coffee. The problem with heat brewing coffee is that it releases a ton of acid from the beans. Cold brew eleminates 70% of the acidity. Look into it, I had not had coffee in 20 years because of my stomach and now I drink several cups a day. I do mine as a concentrate, so I mix 4 oz of my brew with 8 oz of hot water. And you can heat it up a bit more in the microwave if its not quite hot enough for you. The flavor is WAY better, and it wont bother your stomach. And it lasts 2 weeks once made. Though the amount I make is perfect for a week of coffee, 2 cups a day.
lot's of good stuff in that post, but this stands out to me. I brew a pot of tea everyday, I don't like day old tea. I've never thought about it, but does coffee not age as bad as tea?
Look into it for sure. Its such a better cup of joe. You can get a machine or just get a big jar and do it that way. I do a 4:1 mix, so one cup of grounds ( tell them you are cold brewing, its a much more corse grind ) to 4 cups of water. Sit in the fridge for 24 hours ( you can do 12 ) , strain, and now you have concentrate. Like I said in my other reply, I mix 4 oz of concentrate to 8 oz water. Perfection.
Try your local Dunkin if you have one, they have a nice cold brew of their coffee. Only served cold but it will give you and idea of the flavor and acidity difference.
I went to the dollar store and got a massive glass container. I can fit 2 cups of coffee grounds and 8 cups of water, gives me a week of coffee. And I buy from a local place that actually roasts them right there in the shop, so the beans are super fresh and really good. Go with single source if you can, not a blend. Like I use this Guatamalan and its SO good. And yes I know I spelled that country wrong.
I have a hook up on beans from the local prison. I'm waiting on the wife to wake up and I'm going to show her your post and go from there. I'm looking forward to it.

Dunkin Donuts is in Texas but they’re not too common. I’ve been there but never thought they stood out in quality of donuts or coffee. I actually think their donuts are average. I know people love their coffee. Maybe they’re just not very good down here. Their stuff at the store is pretty meh to me as well.
I never realized how popular that place was until I went to New England last year. Easily was the most common chain place I saw around. It seemed like every small town we drove through had one, much like every small town in Texas has atleast one Dairy Queen.

I can't recall ever seeing a Dunkin donuts in real life, much less trying it. Never saw a whataburger, popeye's, or churches. I'm guess I'm just oblivious to my surroundings.
I suppose the count includes PR, but I don't see PR or HI on the map.
Plus I did not know that Kentucky allowed medical use of pot.
