Boogie Ellis ask out of his NLI with Duke?

You guys have been proven wrong over and over. Have fun thinking this is anything more than Ellis not wanting to compete with two other guys for PT now that Stanley has committed. When Hampton commits to Memphis, what will the new theory be?

I didn’t know about Robinson’s situation and hadn’t seen mention of it til now. Guess we’ll just have to see how it plays out.

Yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with Hampton. Boogie was told he wouldn't play at UNC because of Anthony (which was probably partly true) and that he would have the ball in his hands at Duke and they would let 'Boogie be Boogie'. Now that isn't going to happen so he is out. It is his own fault. The kid and his family stated some concerns with the transfers there and then fell victim to it themselves. Not sure how they can blame anyone else.

Uh, no I didn't.

Sorry, I’ve developed a habit of skimming your posts. Looks like you were talking about UNC.

Still...the old “I knew all along” narrative is funny.Laughing

A commitment from Juzang to Kentucky will put them past Duke in the recruiting rankings. Memphis will surpass Duke with a commitment from RJ Hampton. Looks like Duke will most likely have the #3 class for 2019.

More importantly, this significantly hurts Duke's bench. I thought Ellis could be instant offense off the bench. Maybe 7-9 points from Boogie. Now, the bench looks exactly the same from this past season... except neither Bolden/DeLaurier would both be starting next season (playing behind Carey). Duke is going to need one of O'Connell, Baker, or White to really show some steady improvement. We can't rely on the starters for 90% of the points.

I think he’d be dumb not to listen to K, even if it meant playing off the ball.

Hell, he kept Kentucky even with Hagans returning - even though I think UK is probably 3rd or 4th on that list.
Hagans is good but that didn’t stop him from stealing quades job. Why couldn’t Hampton do the same? I think they like something about coach cal specifically how he can get guys to the league and play less than 10 mins a game and be a lottery pick ala booker

Your opinion means nothing. I don’t think Ellis played any role in him not including duke. Duke still has Stanley coming in and last time I checked Jones is still the pg. He’s not going to uk either so there is no point in you responding to what I already know

Sources say I only speak facts and you shouldnt take everything so seriously. My post was a reference

Delaurier is much better than bolden. Bolden won’t play in the nba. He may get ten day contracts but unless he has a monster yr his best bet is to be one of the last ones picked, and hope for the best. Duval was the number 1 pg and went undrafted. I think duke was better this yr when bolden wasn’t playing and that’s no sour grapes towards him I just feel duke played me better with delaurier in the lineup

Nike has got this. There will be a player nobody knew about reclass at the last minute and their family will go from a single wide trailer to a multi million dollar house. All by a sudden change in luck, of course.

I think we are third on his list at best. Could be wrong but I’d say KU and Memphis are ahead of us.
Would think that he would wait to see if the KU PG stays in draft before he makes up his mind.My understanding is that he wants the ball in his hand

I don’t take anything seriously on a rivals message board. Unwind a little my man.

Don’t spin this on me. You who quoted me with a paragraph telling me why my joke was wrong and what I shouldn’t respond to you with Laughing im just having fun with RuppRunt’s “sources” thread. That wasn’t serious.

Wait.... are you saying UK had a lottery pick that played less than 10 min a game at UK?

K han a plan

Even with DeLaurier and Bolden, there's still one open scholarship...

Sr (3): DeLaurier, Bolden, White
Jr (2): O'Connell, Goldwire
So (2): Jones, Baker
Fr (5): Carey, Hurt, Moore, Stanley, Ellis

That's 12 scholarships with Ellis... now it looks like there are 2 open scholarships.

FWIW, I don't think Duke will have much of chance with RJ Hampton. You don't eliminate a school, and then days later invite them back into the picture because a less-heralded recruit wants out of his LOI.

UNC players or fans can’t count

Booker was drafted 13th overall. It says he played 20 mins a game but that seems like a stretch, considering we platooned that yr and I’m sure a lot of those mins were garbage mins. He averaged 10 pts a game. You aren’t going to find many guys that play that little who weren’t injured being drafted 13th overall

I bet he could change his mind.

Didn’t know Roy was recruiting RJ?
