Big 12 vs SEC challenge thread

They’ll probably come back and win, but am I really supposed to believe that Bama is the clear best team in the country like the talking shills have been putting out there.

Edit: they look soft as fck

I don’t take much of anything away from today. More desperate bubble teams at home (OU, Mizz, WV) hosting teams with a lot less to play for (Alabama, ISU, Auburn) all winning.

Well yeah, the title is the ultimate prize, but there aren't too many teams that can go into AFH and do that. It’s no title, but it’s a very good win nonetheless.

Beating Baylor by double digits the year they won the title was a good win too, but I didn’t see a single KU fan taunting them about it after the season. Frankly, it’s something you’d expect from a fanbase like Missouri’s.

That was probably a bigger opportunity for Auburn than WVU.

We are above them in the NET and probably every other metric other than the ap poll.

Was he taunting? I didn’t think so.

I remember when people took shots at KU for surviving a close game vs Oklahoma. 🤣

Every time I watch Mizzou I wonder how they ever win a game. They aren’t good. But once in a while teams go into Columbia and miss a ton of open shots and they get a big win without looking very impressive.

Miles for TCU may have just seriously injured knee… didn’t look good. That’s the only thing that matters today, avoiding injuries.

Lil Dick Bruce choking on Huggins sausage, OU clowning Bama.. UK and UT better pull this out or this B12/SEC Challenge will be ugly.

The Counter Offensive commences at 1800 hrs

With both Auburn & surprisingly Alabama going down, it's looking rough for the SEC:

B12: 3 wins
West Virginia over #15 Auburn: 80-77
Oklahoma over #2 Alabama: 93-69
Texas Tech over Louisiana St: 76-68

SEC: 1 win
Missouri over #12 Iowa St: 78-61

Games in progress:
Mississippi St - 31
#11 TCU - 25

Arkansas - 33
#17 Baylor - 27

Baylor is rather pedestrian when their dribble step back three pointers aren’t going in. Flagler can’t hit the broad side of a barn today. Monday night he was hitting with a hand in his face like it was nothing. As Flagler and Cryer go, so goes Baylor.

I like it. Good luck! I haven't bet any games this week. I've been slacking.

I just bet occasionally when a line grabs me.

K-State seems like a solid bet to cover 4.5 at home. Portland is terrible and Gonzaga beat them by 40 two weeks ago. Figured they’re likely to cover 13. It’s not like they’re known for an intimidating home atmosphere.

KSU should smack Florida around pretty good as long as they can mitigate Castleton, which I think they will.

Big 12 has it in the bag. SEC really needed Arky to pull that out. MSU needs to beat TCU in OT or it's out of reach. That would give the Big 12 a tie in the challenge, at worst. I expect them to win at least a few of the late games. Could be fugly for the SEC at the end. Didn't expect Bama and ISU to be the blowouts, that's for sure.

As long as UK wins, we don't care if they slap our little brothers around
