Big 12 vs SEC challenge thread

Well, that's false. They got off to a bad start, but if you think UK doesn't have the goods to compete with the top of the SEC right now, you're not paying attention. In fact, UK already showed it in Knoxville.
Tennesse isn’t elite either. Against there is only one great team in the SEC and they destroyed you. No team with a loss to South Carolina in the SEc is elite. Friendly reminder Kentucky is the only team in SEC to lose South Carolina this year

The barn about to tie the ballgame! Really good comeback so far.

Auburn is definitely not one of the best teams in the SEC, they've just been hiding behind an extremely weak schedule. Take a look at what's ahead fof them.

Still gonna beat us.

We suck. Cant hold a 16 point halftime lead against a shitty team.

Just an FYI, I'm pulling for AU today, I was just messing with you.

But 2 things, if UK played Alabama today, the game would be much different.

UT most certainly is elite, they're in line for a 1 seed and a lot of the reason for that is their SOS and their wins. If AU had their resume, yiu would call them elite.

I don’t see the Kentucky / Alabama game going different. Alabama still has the best player who hasn’t been stopped all season

WVA always seems to collapse in the second half. They had UK and KU down big at home a few years ago (2018) and blew both of those games.

Of course, they didn't collapse in their 2010 Elite 8 game. 😩

Wait, ISU is sitting someone and you think thats a good thing?
Yes, he’s been plagued by a back injury for the last few weeks and it’s painful to watch. Iowa St needs him to get right, and seeing him sit in lieu of that is good.

Didn’t Uk go like 0-17 from 3 in that elite 8 game?

Maybe not 26 but I see them handling Uk fairly easily
Okay, but you said the game wouldn't go differently.

Also, Mississippi state gave Alabama all they wanted in Tuscaloosa earlier this week. Alabama is damn good, but not unbeatable.

Its become a theme for this program the last few years. Even when we've been good.

Did it this year against k-state and a couple others. We'd probably be 16-4 and in the top 10 if we could hold a 2nd half lead.

Wouldn’t go Differently as meaning UK winning

Like 2-26. It was so bad. It was as if Cal had no idea how to play against a 1-3-1.

He had Wall, Bledsoe, Cousins and Patterson and failed miserably.

But, they faced WVa in the NCAAT 2 or 3 more times and UK ran them each time.

But that 2010 loss really hurt.

Last year Kentucky destroyed Kansas at Kansas but still Kansas won the title. The title is what counts, but an Auburn fan does not know or understand that.

Huggy keeps his job

Our fans are getting fed up, but he's untouchable at WVU. Shouldn't be, but he is.

But hey... that's 3-1 and two top 15 wins in the last 4.

We should at least beat k-state, oklahoma, ok state and texas tech at home. That would probably be enough to get us in the tourney.

And yet you clowns still bring up the game in Allen almost daily. Go figure. 🤣

Keep an eye on Auburn though. It's a quad 1 win for now, but Auburn is going to drop like a stone over the next month or so. Their schedule is really hard from here on out.

Well, it is a pretty good accomplishment. UK was really good last year when they were healthy.

Just pointing out the hilarity of now taking the position of “the title is what matters,” which is exactly what we’ve said every time he brings it up.

Well yeah, the title is the ultimate prize, but there aren't too many teams that can go into AFH and do that. It’s no title, but it’s a very good win nonetheless.
