WHAT makes this so interesting is that Iowa went from 14-18 4-14 in BT play to 22-11 10-10 BT play and they graduate RSSR Baer a non starter. returning 8 of the 9 scholarship players that played this season.

We started off shooting like complete trash last night. Knocked down some quick shots and opened the game up by halftime. A bit different tonight. If we don't find a way to knock down a string of shots, we won't be as fortunate as last night.

They keep talking about Iowa State’s defense. We’ve gotten to the hoop plenty and had plenty of good looks. We just aren’t hitting them. Just one of those games. Sometimes statistics don’t work in your favor.
We are literally shooting ourselves out of this game. Fortunate to be down 10 at the half. Honestly the defense hasn't been bad. Our offense is flat out offensive all around.
Really? And Iowa/ISU fan? If ISU fans are anything like KSU fans, they probably would rather see you fall in a pit of vipers than cheer for Iowa.
The bad news is we put up a dumpster fire performance offensively in the 1st half. The good news is there is still another 20 minutes to straighten things out. The problem is I don't know how much longer it will be until ISU goes unconscious shooting from everywhere.
Welp, those first few minutes of the 2nd half were telling. KU has lost their composure and now on the verge of getting run out of the Sprint Center.
This KU team is stiff if they don’t make shots. You see it every game. If we make our first few, we’re fine and can compete with anybody. If we start with a lid on the bucket, we never get things going. They all get stiff.
We are shooting 30% from two and a huge goose egg from three. Bunch of unforced turnovers. If we just play normal ball we are winning. Kansas is getting beat by Kansas. Getting to the rim at will. And blowing layups. Wide open threes and clanking them.
