Ashton Hagans to Kentucky

Just like I'm sure Berry and Williams will do big things in exercise and sport science. Laughing
Ya, how dumb for ATHLETES to major in exercise & sports science.
Guess those farmer classes will come in handy for those “closet” plants.

They gotta know how to grow their own weed when they blow all their NBA money after the careers fizzle out. My favorites are upperclassmen that are still "undeclared" or majoring in "general studies". RollLaugh

I actually remember reading in a Sports Illustrated article that one of John Wall's courses was What To Order At Restaurant. LMAO, I can just hear him saying, "Yo, bring me some bread sticks!"
That might be true. Wall was from North Carolina.

It must steam Kentucky fans that they've only had 1 title this millennium while 5 other schools have won multiple titles, including 1 in their own conference.

All they care about is the nba draft, that’s the greatest night in Ky basketball.

Has there ever been two posters more obsessed with UK than these two? Ate up I tell ya!!!Laughing

Come on dude, come up with something better. You’re starting to make yourself look dumb like your buddy UNCheatinky!!! You don’t want that reputation!
What you don't understand is that the Robert Morris rif was just a tease. I had no idea that it would so ruffle Kentucky fans' jimmies to the extent that it did. It wasn't meant to be an intricate plan of attack. The addition of Hagans and Montgomery had Wildcat Nation in a tizzy exulting about the recruiting bonanza. I brought up the Robert Morris game just to point out that having a pronounced advantage in talent doesn't always seal the deal.

If the only thing you can come up with to “ruffle” UK fans is something that happened around 4 years ago then you are prolly new at this. You look like you learned from UNCheatinky and that’s not a good thing by the way!!! Keep practicing little guy you’ll get it someday.

I’ll also point out that anyone who knows anything about sports knows that having the most talent don’t always win. Look at UK is 2015, Duke this past year and I can name several other teams in the past that didn’t win. The year we went to the NIT we lost our best player to injury (Noel) or we would’ve made the NCAA. Hell most of the so called experts was shocked UK didn’t make it anyway. Serious question, are you around 12 or 13 years old? Your post make it seem that way and it’s percectly fine if you are I was just wondering.

LOL, I think it's funny that someone bearing the adolescent name of "Scotty" would ask another poster about whether he's 12 or 13 years old. Thanks for the early morning amusement. As you might say, you've been percectly wonderful in providing entertainment. Bye for now.

Evidently Kentucky fans have an advantage in intelligence.

Coming from a guy that calls his self “Silent Banjo” I’ll take that as a compliment! Later sprinkles!

I am old and started college in 1964. I don't remember any major like "general studies". Hell, we laughed at the guys/gals getting degrees in social studies. Sociology was an automatic ‘A’; music appreciation was a near guarantee ‘A’. My problem was I was a chemistry major and only got to take a limited number of automatic ‘A’s’.

I guess ‘general studies’ is where you take all the easy classes in all fields for a near 4.0 GPA finish. My big question is; after college what do you do with a ‘general studies’ degree? Clean restroom at the local McDonalds?

Kind of ironic that someone uses the word “obsessed” but yet they quote me & talk about me 24/7 & I don’t answer them back.
Kind of like the crazy ex girlfriend type.

I've always kind of thought the Robert Morris game was a cool moment. The result itself made no difference to Kentucky fans. The season was already over. For the most part that season ended when Noel went down. Think we got beat by 30 our next game so we kind of knew that team wasn't making the tournament.

But how often does a team like Robert Morris get a home game against the top program of all time? The atmosphere in that gym was unreal. Their students and fans(had to be almost all students right?) brought it big time. One of the more hostile environments I've watched UK play in despite that gym only holding like 3k.

Even though we lost I just remember thinking "this was actually pretty awesome".

Plus we had just won a title the season before and had the top recruiting class of all time coming in. Most Kentucky fans were pretty indifferent towards that game at the time.

The Wisconsin, K State and West Virginia tourney losses all sting way worse.

....yeah, you pointed to the single worst year of the Cal era, where the best player on the team tore his ACL before the post season and tried to apply it as a blanket statement. Not only was this a lame attempt, it made you look quite stupid in the process.

The only thing stupid is your analysis. I merely pointed out the Robert Morris game to tease Kentucky fans and suggest that star power doesn't always get it done. Even with Noel out, they still had 5-stars and future NBA players galore and should have waltzed to a victory. To the best of my knowledge, Robert Morris had nobody of distinction. Please try to cope with my jibe.

After Noel went down, we had one NBA player on that team. WCS.. and he was a freshman. Didn't declare until after his junior year.

About that Ashton Hagans though. Should be a great player for us.

Why are people still engaging this guy? He is either a troll or an idiot. No Loyola/Gonzaga fan should be taken seriously when they are trying to talk smack to bluebloods.

BUT 1963 HAPPENED!!!

Besides WCS, there was Goodwin, Wiltjer, and a healthy Poythress, who had he not gotten injured would have undoubtedly gone on to enjoy a long NBA career. I would have dropped the Robert Morris tease a long time ago, but people keep "reminding" me of it with their posts.

Silent Banjo has set a new record of having her jimmies rustled. Don’t let us Kentucky fans get to you so much
I genuinely think it's the other way around, but believe what you want. The funny thing is, the Kentucky fans jimmies stay rustled long after I stopped trying to rustle them.

You haven’t stopped in a few days so I can’t take your word for that. But I can however sense your rustle level through my phone and it’s been off the charts recently

Sure you can take my word for it. I'm only responding to rustled fans, such as you. Sounds like you should change your handle to ThroughBlackandBlue with all your imagined trauma.

For those that don't know hagans turns 19 in July. So hes actually older than Kevin Knox. 2 classes behind.
