Yeah. I'm thinking the KU report was given by a coach that faced them months ago. Not a very accurate description of Svi these days.
Svi would start for every major program in the NCAA--mid major guard???? Gotta be Hurley or Drew
Yes, thought that was a bit harsh on Svi. Don't think Huggins would ever respond to this type of request or even say that. Curious
Whoever they interviewed for the piece on Kansas, sure doesn’t know this version of KU very well. Azubuike not a very good basketball player? He payed Dok one compliment, saying “he can overpower you.” Well no shit, he’s 7’ 280 lbs. Svi a mid major guard? Wtf? He’s one of the best (if not the best) shooters in the FF.
I’m guesing it was an ooc coach. Washington’s Mike Hopkins, or ASU’s Hurley? I don’t know.
I think what he means is that Svi isn't freakishly athletic and is more of a spot up shooter than somebody who can create his own shot.
But he's become a pretty solid slasher and finisher over the last few months.
