Was there a law stating President Obama had to release his birth certificate, even though he did? I’m just speaking on behalf of promises. He promised to do so once he won the election, so who’s to say he’s actually paying taxes? That would be illegal if he in fact wasn’t. It shouldn’t be too hard of a task. Why promise something if you won’t follow through with it?

I'm sure he's not had to. My democratic father hasn't paid taxes in 20 years. Its called owning a business and taking depreciation. We've made more money this year, which has forced me to purchase more equipment to take depreciation to avoid paying taxes at the end of the year. But those purchases put people to work on and on down the line, helping the economy. Trump doesn't just fill out a 1040EZ and call it a day.

Not exactly. It’s supply side economics meant to spur spending. The success of our economy is dependent on spending and growth. Depreciation and write-off’s encourage this type spending while it prohibits saving. In turn, businesses tend to asset heavy and cash poor, which promotes borrowing to cover cash flow fluctuations.
Personally, I hate it at times. Forces me to spend when I don’t need to. Would love to be able to save money without being taxed on it.
Stop. This post is beyond idiotic. He has to file taxes every year. If he did something wrong on his taxes, he would have been in trouble. And, let’s not forget he released a portion of his tax returns already. He showed that he paid IIRC over $100M in taxes (someone fact check me there, regardless, it was a ton).

There’s a HUGE difference between taking legal deductions to avoid paying taxes and being illegal and not paying taxes or purposely not paying taxes.
Stuck with millions of tin foil hat wearing Democrats, not Republicans. We’re smart enough to know he’s rich, he pays some taxes and don’t care what percent he actually pays.
