They are all about the OAD guys. It's been that way for awhile. It is more player stuff than teams.

Too many teams get caught up in trying to stop Trae and too many players get caught up him trying to match him point for point. Against OU you have to guard Trae one-on-one and try and shut down everyone else. If you lose because Trae scored 45+ then so be it. Trae is still gonna get his 30. When he gets that 30 you can't let him get everyone else involved as well. Worst strategy are the teams who try to throw double teams at him because he kills those.
And for the love of god can coaches pull their PGs when they start to think they need to match Trae point for point. Seen too many times guards shoot their teams out of position because they think they have to match Trae's big 3.
This is correct. The gameplan for OU is pretty easy, just cant let the 18-22 year olds get caught up in the moment and start thinking "if I keep matching him, then I can be an NBA player". A typical mid major that plays as one should be able to take OU out in the first round.
