I can think of at least one narrative that isn’t supported by this…

Must be nice that Kansas can jack up threes on their suspiciously friendly home rims and still shoot more FTs than their opponents more often than not.

I remember AFH prior to 2018. These are an average. Not counting big games but when they overpower smaller teams.

Also hoping with Pope, UK will finally get better than a 78%

Too lazy to look it up but that was more Pitino numbers. Cal started out great but went down hill fast.

Pitino lost 7 games in Rupp. 86.7%
Caliarpi 25. I did find this. "Calipari started with a 54-0 record in Rupp Arena as head coach of the Wildcats"

This is from before the Gonzaga game:

Calipari has gone 229-24 (90.5%) at home in his tenure as Kentucky’s head coach. Throw out that 2020-21 season when attendance was severely limited, and Calipari is 224-18 (92.6%) in Rupp Arena.

KU kicked UK's ass in Rupp, UK kicked KU's ass in AFH. Neither helped us in the tournament.

Kind of sucks we've narrowed down the entire season to post season. We should get away from that and enjoy the season next year.
