Take a lap, newb!!! It’s Pope and it ain’t close. He rebuilt a team with no previous players and made it as far as Cal did after raiding the cabinet. Now scoot along before @kyjeff1 comes along and has your stool on the end of his hog.Neither, chief. Both are in the Sweet 16.
Next question?
Wait, are you saying @kyjeff likes stool on his hog?Take a lap, newb!!! It’s Pope and it ain’t close. He rebuilt a team with no previous players and made it as far as Cal did after raiding the cabinet. Now scoot along before @kyjeff1 comes along and has your stool on the end of his hog.

Mark Pope definitely crushed Cal as far as regular season achievments go.
Cal got a nice laugh by winning in Rupp and Cal's 2 tournament wins are easily more impressive.
Both coaches are in the sweet 16 with tough matchups, so anything can happen from here on out.
There are a lot of scenarios that could make the post season a draw, or make one of these coaches look better.
Thing is, Cal had, by far, the more talented roster, he had his pick of the litter. In my opinion, it took him way too long to figure it out. But now that he has, they could potentially go on a heck of a run.
In seriousness, Kentucky's roster is pretty talented and deep.
Yeah, injuries play a role for sure. Some were saying Arkansas was better without Fland, not me, he was getting 5apg, that’s not the sign of a selfish player. In seriousness, Kentucky's roster is pretty talented and deep. Better than I was expecting. I wouldn't say Calipari's roster is far more talented. Especially with a rusty Fland and no Thiero.
