I actually think UK is a matchup nightmare for UNC this year.

I feel like UK can beat UNC at their up and down game, but I don't think UNC can beat UK at UK's game.

It appears as though UK has advantages at most positions on the floor.

Matchups matter and that would be a great game.

There is no good matchup for a 1 seed when playing a 2 seed. Is UTjr a bad matchup for UVA? How about MSU for Duke or Mich for Zaga?

Everyone always looks for a reason that the 2 seed will win.

MSU is 29-6. UNC is 27-6. MSU is 4-2 in their signature games. UNC is 3-4 with two wins coming against Zion less Duke. MSU has more Quad 1 wins,.

MSU won the regular season and conference tourney.

And they're the third overall seed?

What am I missing here?

I cant find any objective evidence to UNC having a better resume than MSU.

Edit: Didnt know UNC beat the Zags earlier in the year.

There’s a UK fan on the spectrum railing about how UNC doesn’t deserve their seeding and he’s over the moon that we get to be in the same bracket. I think UK is a bad matchup for UNC as well but I don't think UK would have an advantage at the up and down game. I think UK beats them the way they did the first game. They match or beat them on the boards and make more FTs. They get really physical with them. That is easier to dictate than what UNC would want to do to UK IMO.

Well, anyone who says that this team stands no chance against that team for whatever reason, hasn't watched college basketball for very long. So there are people who make outlandish comments. Who cares? I can see some relevance to the picture, but it definitely falls under the insecure category.
