At least they call the reaches though. If they did the same with the walks and not shot clock violations you wouldn't posting tonight.

Good game. Really happy to come away with the win against a really good Virginia team. This Duke team is tough. Not deep, though... Jordan Goldwire didn’t even get on the floor.
I think you’d be pretty hard-pressed to find a single Duke poster at DI calling you any kind of friend.
duke played their game, their style. admittedly it's probably a bit more fast paced and hard nosed at point of attack with jones in, but for the most part the game went the direction the blue devils wanted to take it, when they wanted to take it there. a nice adjustment by K and his team who usually like to get out and run, relying on a lot of transition points and POTs. it was close, but duke controlled rhythm and it never felt like uva had much for them.

Yep. 15 lead changes and a 2 point loss in Cameron. We were no match at all. Probably should just forfeit the rematch in Charlottesville in a few weeks, especially with Tre coming back for the game.
didn't say no match. just making observation that while the game was close throughout, and in those games anything can happen, that the style of this game really favored duke and the results ultimately showed that to be true. uva really didn't dictate much of anything other than their own slow pace on offense. in the past i have seen them be much more trouble for duke...even in duke wins.
The same formula for beating uva is still true. Get in front of them, where they aren’t comfortable, and make them speed up. Down by 2 possessions, with the clock their enemy, they showed no urgency.
It’s easier said than done though. Not sure they will be behind much. Probably the best two teams in the country played last night.
