You guys made some really great plays. Your AD can spot talent in coaches.

I can't explain it, but I'm really not mad at losing that game. I guess, I could see it coming.

If it wasn't for the UL win to hang their hat on, UK would be looking like a NIT team. That win is gonna keep them in the NCAA field.

I can't see that one win (UL) getting us to the Tourney. These young guys need to quit fighting and arguing with Cal on the bench and start taking responsibly to play as a team. None of them seem to want to accept fault when they make a mistake. And it doesn't seem like they can shake it off. Gotta have thick skin to play for Cal.

Hopefully they get it together because we can't afford another loss at home and we're going to need a few road wins. Tough games coming up as well. A win at WVU would be huge next week but I just don't see that happening at this point.

Yeah I've noticed they are arguing back with Cal more than past UK players.

It really is amazing that by far Florida's best run of success still gives you fewer total wins, National Championships, runner up finishes, Final Four appearances, Elite Eight appearances, NCAA Tournament appearances, SEC regular season titles, SEC Tournament titles, and a losing record against UK.

Do UK fans have any guilt at all over how much football money they have stolen from the SEC? The Gator basketball program has won over 700 games since the last time UK beat UF in football.

Florida football hasn’t won the SEC in a decade, chill.

Recruiting aside, do people still compare Calipari as a coach to to Self? Dude wastes more talent than Brittany Spears.

We've carried the entire conference in basketball since like 1940, so no. Not really.

This is a stupid fvcking post.

Of course Kentucky has a longer basketball history than Florida. That said, Florida has been every bit as good a basketball program since 2000.

Calipari is a fvcking joke. The fact that you guys keep that guy is hilarious.

What a stupid post.

Florida's basketball program is crap when compared to Kentucky. UK's home attendance is double that of Florida, the ticket prices are triple, the Florida road following is near zero.

So a program is defined by attendance and ticket prices? LaughingLaughing

im not talking historically or anything like that. I'm talking on the court success in the past 10-15 years in which both programs are very similar.

Calipari has underachieved given Kentucky resources IMO.

Bert doesn’t consider a quarter of century to be an adequate sample size. The UK fan base derives a large part of their perceived self worth from things that happened in the Truman years.

How many Ky players are gonna be OAD? I would think only a couple, most of these guys aren't good enough by a long shot. I imagine they'll lose Diallo and SGA and maybe Vanderbilt, but the rest of them have no business going pro. I've seen Knox listed as a lottery pick...I have a hard time believing that. He looks awful.

What I'm saying is KY should have a real solid team next couple years cause it looks like they have some future upper classmen in this freshman class.

And what's up with Quade Green? Was he highly rated? He looks like he should transfer to a smaller school.

I think they have 4 guys projected in the first round. That seems crazy to me but it is what it is.

Never said they were better, simply stated that you refuse to give them any credit for what they have accomplished in the last quarter of a century. If UK football fans were to have a quarter of century like Gator basketball has had I can't imagine the arrogance that would be coming from their direction.

Clearly while Florida is hands down the best overall sports program in the SEC, as evidenced by their total lock on the annual SEC sports trophy, but in at least maybe half of the sports, they are not the best SEC program in that sport.

My point is, who would have thought when Kentucky football was celebrating their last win against the Gator football team on that cold November day in 1986 that the Gator basketball program would accomplish all they have accomplished, including 2 titles, 5 final fours, 11 sweet 16 and win 7 SEC titles minimum before Kentucky ever beat them in football again.

If I was Cal I'd bench the guys arguing and play the guys that want to be coached and play as a team. The guys bitching and moaning might get the message.

Absolutely. I'ld give them a warning on the first time, then benched until they learned who was in charge...
