Not a fan of being taken out of a scene due to acting. Love the premise of the show.

My friend said best movie/show of 24 so far was Dune 2 and House of Dragons.
I think Fallout and Gentelman kick House of Dragons in the nards. Even Shogun
movie, Deadpool was good, I'd have to think on that.

All the characters are bad people. It’s like Succession that way. Makes it incredibly entertaining imo
sounds like your friend is a real asshole. Dune 2 shouldn't be anyone's pick for best movie of the year. It was ok I guess. Not sure, saw it a few weeks ago and already forgot the whole thing. That's usually a good sign the movie is nothing special.
Yep, just watched it and it felt like they hired all new writers that had never seen the previous seasons before. No heart. They tried way too much physical comedy, very poor editing, and no depth.
Haha. This was my exact thought. It's Succession. They are all awful people but you still find yourself rooting for them. Probably also a Sopranos theme, Breaking Bad (Walter not Jesse)... all the great ones.
I'm going to have to give this show a shot, haven't really even heard of it.
Definitely worth it. Some pretty raunchy stuff in Season 1 as I recall, which I rather enjoy. Also, Jon Snow is in Season 3, and his character sucks, but he is playing it well.
Finished Immortals Fenix Rising. Or I should say, gave up after 50 hours because it's a typical Ubisoft game which means by the end you are completely overpowered and sick of clearing all the chores on the map. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it enough to play it for 50 hours. But felt no need or desire to finish it. Felt the same way about the last Far Cry game.
Needed a new game to keep me busy and I decided to give Brotato a try. It's a roguelike, but doesn't have as much meta progression as a game like Hades or Dead Cells. Been playing it for a little less than a week and so far I'm liking it. Already cleared it a few times with different characters.

I didn't finish Fenix Rising either. I just didn't think the game was that good. Brotato was kinda fun. I didn't complete it with all characters (there's a bunch of them) but I probably did with about 20 or so.
I've just been playing Apex lately with some buddies. We win like one out of every 50 games lol but still having fun on it.
I'm looking forward to New World Aeternum. Comes out in October.
yea I can see that with Brotato. I've cleared it 4x now, but the runs are a little too samey for me to stick around and complete all 40ish characters and then do it on the 5 different difficulty levels.
Just need something to hold me over till September, lots of good games coming out:

Just finished Boys season last night. Loved the ending and how they set up the next season, but overall I thought the season was terrible. Was disgusted by the overt left wing propaganda that the entire season was. The entire season was basically anti Trump and anti Republican fantasy porn. Loved how in the end it blew up in their faces when they had their "trumpian" characters talking about using the 25th Amendment to overthrow the President right around the same time in real life the Democrats were running around threatening to use the 25th to get rid of Biden. I'm sure that made the Boys producers start scrambling to change as much of that as they could.
Just binged the first season of The Old Man on Hulu. Bridges and Lithgow are excellent. Can’t wait for season 2
Watched that when it came out, are we getting a season 2? I enjoyed it but it's been so long I've forgotten 90% of it.
Check out YouTube, you can usually find a selection of 10-15 minute season recaps for most shows.
Just finished ep 1. Lot of phone calls. Wasn't sure about it until the final scene. I'm in.
We ended our prolonged vacationlaying in bed watching Didi. We enjoyed it.

Couple really good games coming out next few days.
First up is Astro Bot on the PS5. If you recall the original astro bot game was a game/tech demo that came pre-installed on every PS5. It was actually a really good game. Now we have a full fledged sequal and no surprise, it's getting great reviews. Comes out tomorrow.
Next up we have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. 3rd person shooter comes out on 9/10. Also getting fantastic reviews for single player and co-op.
Both of these should keep my busy till the new Zelda game comes out end of the month.

If you like Minecraft/Terraria, play Core Keeper. It's like the two had a baby. I know those types of games aren't everyone's cup of tea, but i enjoy them. It's on Gamepass, fun game.
I can't recommend Astro Bot enough. I've almost got platinum on it, and it's spectacular if you like Platformers. This game is as good and maybe better than any Mario game ever. I don't normally play these types of games anymore but I've had an amazing time with this one.
The Perfect Couple was a pretty fun murder mystery limited series on Netflix. Some pretty hot chicks if you’re not gay.
Been playing the New World Aeternum open beta this weekend. Definitely buying this game next month.
