Everyone not named Trae Young on Oklahoma sucks so much offensively. It is painful to watch when teams double Trae

Everybody talked about how good Penn is at defending the 3, they never said they could hit the 3. These guys can't miss right now. KU will win this game, but Penn is playing insane right now.

KU outplays the 16 seed by 17 points in last 7. Very typical for a 16 seed
Hell, Oklahoma State beat OU twice, beat KU twice, and beat West Virginia at West Virginia, and they finished the season strong. Yet OU gets in over them? Not a lot makes sense.
Not a lot actually changed either. Penn just started missing shots, and we hit a couple. Overall shot selection and intensity of defense didn't change much on either end.
Penn isn't that bad of a team as I'm watching them. They aren't super athletic, I'll give you that, but they play some defense and they don't make any mistakes. The kind of team that you are almost surely going to beat by 15-20 points, but will annoy the F out of you in doing it.
They are an "underseeded 16" if that makes sense, but more often are RPI 250ish teams that will never beat a team in the top 50 let alone the top 5.

I wouldn't say never. It'll happen some day. When it happens it'll probably be a team that got underseeded. I mean, 16 seed type teams beat 1 seed type teams nearly every year. This year it was Wofford over UNC. One of these years it'll happen during the tournament. The 1 seed will be playing tight and the 16 will be hitting 3s, and it'll happen. It's been close a few times. Just a matter of time.
Even if it happens once, it still doesnt justify its existence. Make more play in games, gives the 16 type seeds a chance to win a game, and a better chance to compete against a lesser but still solid opponent, and makes the incentive for a 1 larger to not have to play 2 games in 3 days.
