My top teams pre season edited for the date and will change - * Edit 6/24/23

So Bama not in top 34? Good thing is we actually get to play a bunch of those top teams.
I know Nate Oats had all 3 assistant coaches leave the program for head coaching jobs, but has just finalized the replacements, and imo was a big upgrade. They will finish the year ranked.

I’m hearing that Alabama might be on the verge of landing a few big transfers. They’re in contact with Nelson, Kaluma and somebody else.

I’d heard a lot of Nelson to KU chatter recently, but apparently Self backed off and decided to run with what he has and eat another scholarship toward the self-imposed reduction. I kind of wish they’d have kept pursuing him. Nelson has skills.

Nelson appears to be interested, whatever that means to these guys.
Also rumored to be headed our way is Jarin Stevenson.
Also Javon Quinerly and Mark Sears elected to come back to bolster the backcourt.

If grant nelson goes to bama and UK gets Kaluma and Jordan Brown. Both move up in these rankings fwiw

Xavier Booker is all potential and 0 production right now. He is very overrated and will be a non-factor this year.
MSU doesn't need him the be a major factor. He is probably the back up power forward. Anything they get from him will be a bonus.

Sounds like there was some BS floating around about Dickinson’s recruitment. According to him, KU wasn’t the highest bidder. And people in the know are saying the $4 mil/2 years figure is bogus. It’s more like a 1 mil/year base.

Jeff Hawkins says he's never seen a KU team look this good this early, and he's been around the program for 20 years. Bill Self seems giddy too, by his standards.

I guess bignish forgot to tell them there's no talent on this team. 😁

I expect there to be a lot of good teams though.

UK in the 60's with Bradshaws injury , man aint playing this year
He'll play. Mock drafts have him in 2nd round due to the injury and with Livingston as an example, I would if I was him. Klutch provides bad advice. He would be best advised in dropping them. The kid seems eager to play.

That post was when Reeves seemed set to transfer, backwhen bradshaw injury was 6 months and Mitchell hadn't committed

Only thing I took from all of this:
Santiago Vescovi has easily been in college longer than Perry Ellis. I hate that guy. Gotta be atleast 30 years old

Agree, 100%. Worked few of his HS games----Not impressed. MOF, I didnt even feel he was the best player in his team. I like the kid whos going to Purdue for football---I felt he was better. Booker seemed disinterested---and shied awaay from contact; he was "bullied" by Jeffersonville's 6'9" soph.

Maybe Izzo works his magic?
He'll have to stick around more than a year in order for Izzo to do his thing.
