And you stay home while we go to bowl games, have fun, make money and enjoy watching you stay home and cry.Beat the Hell out of like usual. We always beat the hell out of your supposed good teams. We even beat your best team of all time.

That simple is incomplete and therefore not true. The UK fan that UT was not better than UK last year. Why post Scotty if you're going to be disingenuous? All I saw was somebody ask you what sport UT was better at and then you came off with the drum beating reference. I like you and think that you’re a good poster I just think you go a little overboard sometimes.
Well, sine we are #5 in Bowl appearances and y'all are #66, it was high time ya'll pull your own weight. And you stay home while we go to bowl games, have fun, make money and enjoy watching you stay home and cry.

Not to get off topic, but, 76-70 UK.It was relevant to the conversation, but you knew that.
Seems like your position changes with the direction of the wind. When presented with facts you tend to fold up like an accordion. It was relevant to the conversation, but you knew that.
How would you come up with that in lieu of you failing to present facts?Seems like your position changes with the direction of the wind. When presented with facts you tend to fold up like an accordion.
Why are you so worried?
It may be a little early, but it is here none the less.
Similar to that game you played in Nashville.Yeah maybe you're right, I saw you in a big game match up in Durham...
Are you singing a different tune now? It previously was how the Vols were going to mop the floor with our Cats. Interesting. In a sense, you're right it is a huge game, but don't sell yourself short, UK has improved mightily over the season. I hope neither team loses up till our game, that would take some of the luster off.
It is a big game, but it is not the season. Win or lose either of us there will be at least one rematch and we have March Madness. So, good luck until we meet.
The pressure is on the Vols. They are the ones ranked number 1.The pressure is all on ya'll. You going to give me a congrats if you lose?
Do you ever sleep? You have been at this night and day. Maybe, you're the one worried. Why are you so worried?
In most conferences the winner of the conference tourney gets the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Most of the mid majors get nothing by winning the regular season. In that case it would be much better to win the conference tournament. You’re seriously arguing that a team would rather win its conference tourney than the regular season title?
It should be but they usually won’t even visit a school in back to back seasons. I think Kansas has had the most Gameday visits ever, atleast that was the case a couple of years ago, and they usually only come there every other year. I don’t recall them ever doing once place twice in one season but I could be wrong.Actually game day is coming back for that game. Pretty sure it’s already a done deal but don’t hold me to that!

Actually, you accused me of doing that, not warned me against it. You are absolutely correct I'm tickled to death with where UT is right now.I think it’s more of her just being proud of her team. UT fans aren’t use to having a top 20 team most years let alone top 5 so I can see why she might be a little overly happy. All I was saying to her was not to come here acting like UT was a top ten team year in and year out. Again I like it when other SEC schools are doing well. Better for UK and the league.
I just skimmed through the wiki page for it. They’ve had some pretty awful matchups in the past so I’m thinking they won’t be in Lexington for the game.I hear you. But if UK wins both games next week (not a given considering Carolina has been very good in SEC play + Mississippi State on the road) they'd be stupid not to have what will be a 5 vs 1 matchup for gameday imo.

It could potentially be at a women’s game but I’m not checking any schedules for that. Ha ha.
It was in Duke earlier this year. I’m guessing it’ll be in Ann Arbor.Looking ahead at a few games maybe considered?-
NC State @ Duke (NC State shouldn't be allowed to play on television after yesterday)
Maryland @ Michigan (Maryland lost 3 of 4, won't be ranked next week)
Iowa State @ Kansas State (maybe best non UT/UK option?)
Just not a lot of compelling games really
Actually, you accused me of doing that, not warned me against it. You are absolutely correct I'm tickled to death with where UT is right now.
Do I think UT is the greatest team ever and unbeatable, no. Of course, I have not made that claim once much less all the times I've been accused of it.
I do like to banter back and forth, but I like to do it in a good natured way. I like to say, UT will kick UK's ass by 10, but in reality, I have no idea how it will turn out. We could win or lose by 10, it could go to OT, but that is the fun of it. The last thing in the world I am is overconfident, I was nervous about AGGY and now I'm nervous about Mizzou. When UK comes up, I'll be nervous about them too.Laughing
If UT wins it all, they won't be letting me cut down the nets and if we lose all of our games from here on out, it won't cost me a dime.Thats me, I like the going back and fourth but you have to be able to take the good with the bad on this board because it can get a little rough. People will go to the end of the earth and back to make a point or to make something fit their agenda. We have one poster who made up a fake life with a fake model wife for god sakes!
You have changed your tune Della. You started out saying UT would kick Kentucky's ass and not you seem hesitant to back that up.Actually, you accused me of doing that, not warned me against it. You are absolutely correct I'm tickled to death with where UT is right now.

I think I ruffled some feathers making fun of the notion of a Blue blood fan and how ridiculous it is to expect some privilege for rooting for a specific team. I recognize that some teams have achieved great records and have been the model of consistency, but so what? Tennessee is doing real good, but it is no thanks to me. We are all just fans.
She was John Kerry's speech writer. You have changed your tune Della. You started out saying UT would kick Kentucky's ass and not you seem hesitant to back that up.

I feel the same way about UK. If y'all were alabama, I would pull for whoever they played. If UK doesn’t win it I hope it is a SEC school and if that happens to be UT I will be happy for them. I don’t like UT but they are apart of the SEC!
I am talking about your initial post on this board. Reread that post Della. You may have a short memory so reread that post.reread

This game will test the policies that ESPN follows for college gameday locations. They might just have to break tradition and go to Rupp Arena for a second time this year.It was in Duke earlier this year. I’m guessing it’ll be in Ann Arbor.
I’ll be taking bets for any Kentucky fans who think I’m wrong.

Only reason Id want them back is to listen to other fan bases bitch we got it twice. IDGAF if Gameday ever comes, it is truly awful nowadays.Yeah I wouldn't be surprised, but it'd be dumb. Oh well gameday is awful to watch so meh not a big deal either way.
There’s been plenty of weekends where it was at a game for a team ranked like 20th playing at an unranked opponent. They make mistakes all of the time. I don’t see any reason why they would break protocol this time. This game will test the policies that ESPN follows for college gameday locations. I think it would be a mistake not to.
Oh I agree, heck, they just did gameday in East Lansing with unranked Indiana with IU on a 7 game losing streak, so yeah, they have more than.proven that they will host a game that isn't the most interesting. There’s been plenty of weekends where it was at a game for a team ranked like 20th playing at an unranked opponent. I do agree that it should be there but if you always go with the game it should be you open it up to being at Duke like 3-4 times a year when they play a top 10 ACC team at home. Nobody wants that. Lol
