I think I know who the 1 seed is... the 16 seed is escaping me. Did it happen in 1990?
If I remember correctly it was Lehigh vs Georgetown? I know it was very close, but not sure if it went to OT.
The thought of Fran McCaffery taking a 1 seed to overtime makes me chuckle.
It was Murray State vs. Michigan State. You're up!
Yeah I definitely didn't get this one. Although Michigan State is the 1 seed I was thinking of. Guessing you just didn't want to hold onto the question for too long...
Alright, which two teams were involved in the highest scoring game in NCAA Tournament history?
Loyola Marymount and ???
I think it was them and Michigan
You are both correct. Loyola Marymount against Michigan in the 2nd Round of the tournament in 1990. LMU took down the defending champs 149-115.
Whichever of you two are prepared for a question, feel free to take it away.
@Villian07 you can have the next question. I never would have got it if you didn’t say Loyola Marymount first
Hell I only knew Loyola Marymount was involved bc of the ridiculous amount of points they scored. Had no clue it was Michigan or that they even played Michigan.
Plus I suck coming up with trivia questions.
Damn I didn’t even know that about my own alma mater. Sad
Name the school that has earned the most 1 seeds that has not won a NCAA championship
Oklahoma? I think they had 3 under Tubbs and then 2003, 2016 and maybe even 2009.
Correct. They've earned a 1 seed 5 times and have always come up short. You're up!
9 Kansas players have been named 1st team All-American since 1997. Name those 9 players.
That little kid from Chicago, forgot his name?
Your score is +1
Mason, Pierce and Graham were correct.
Sherron Collins, that's the little guy from Chicago who's name I couldn't remember last week.
