We needed to replace a LOT of talent. We got a lot coming in, but only some of it is that real top-tier talent. My fingers are crossed for a more balanced team and for more of the bench to show up, but I am not holding my breath... the bench has not been a strong point of ours for a LONG time.
We should have multi year players out of this class. Balance and the ability to spread the floor should be two areas of improvement from this year. Expecting a clear step backwards on defense. We'll see how they progress. Kind of looking forward to a year with lower expectations.
Yeah, there is only one certain OAD in this group, Carey. My hope is that the rest of the class sticks around at least two years. It is just really, really hard to get a group of freshmen to win a title... I think we've seen a number of second year guys who were well regarded in high school do really well for a number of teams.
I'll take a 34 pt loss to Duke to ensure they dont win the title every season. sucks to have your team peak in game 1 of the season.

How many blow out wins did you have over top 5 teams? just 1... over UK so yeah that was the peak of your season.
Both wins vs Virginia, both wins vs FSU and their comeback at Louisville were bigger wins. Auburn and Texas Tech were same tier or bigger than the Kentucky game.

If Tech or Auburn were bigger because they made the final four ...... then UK is bigger than FSU and UL because we made it further in the tournament. You dont even follow your own BS logic which is why its a fail.
Didn't say bigger game. Said bigger win. It was a conference game that held more importance and it was the most unlikely 10 minutes of the year.
