So.........How long before BBN runs Keion out of town....

Ok I hate UK, no surprise. But I’m gonna give y’all credit, bc y’all have just about changed my mind on an internet message board which is truly a remarkable feat.

No one has debunked the book by his assistant, so I guess that’s still out there, the slurs and what not. But I’ll just be straight, I live in western Kentucky, a small town, and I’m not sure I know anyone closely that’s Ive NEVER said that word, family included.

But like y’all pointed out with the story about the kid from Kentucky that went to Duquesne, that’s just not something a pure racist would do, period.
Said what word? The N word?

Knowing that clown he meant it. I mean he thinks Oprah is the spokeswoman for black people.
I was just proving to your brethren how easy it is to hurl bullshit out and then ask other to prove it is false. And low and behold here you come, guns blazing and acting all stupid while hurling insults. Get over yourself, you trigger way too easy. Grow up.

Problem is, it’s not just us saying Rupp is racist. There have been countless quotes from people, magazine articles, books, movies.... all have said he was racist.

Countless? Do you have trouble with adding?

BTW,I admire how you pretend to be gay.

Rupp was #1 at the time and when you're #1, ppl come at the best with all sorts of off the court stuff to try and bring them down. They can't do shit as far as records go so they feel the need to bring down the king. UNC has a decent program, I don't feel the need to trash them with Frank McGuire, Dean Smith, Roy Williams, and Doherty. You guys got really close to reclaiming the all times win list (had a thread pinned on the home board counting down), but UK being UK and UNC being UNC, that fell through.

*Take note on the last sentence/point. It's actually facts and not hearsay. Thats how to talk shit in sports. Opinions and hyperbole are for pussies. ;)

Says the clown. May wanna take a nap and try again.

lemme walk this back a little. I have not heard every one in my town use the N-word. I’m not trying to shit on my town as a whole. I just meant a handful of people I’m close to. The people I’ve known my entire life. And some I may not have heard say it in 10-15 years, when we were kids.

Now I’ve got to work, so have fun attacking while I’m gone.

I was just confused as to which word you were referring to.

I deleted my post. I think we've insulted each other enough. I don't like myself when shitting on others flaws.

Forgive me.

While looking through my post history, you had to notice I try and be positive and make corny jokes about stuff. It doesn't take any effort to be negative and hate on others or other teams.

Let's do this again in the next UK thread. Winking

I used the movie to prove a point that Pat Riley, a guy that played for Rupp, was a director on the film.
Sorry that it went over your head also.
It didn't....And you are misinformed....Pat Riley gave an interview. Riley gave input to Jon Voight, who played Rupp...He gave input to Wes Brown----he portrayed Riley in the movie... He DID NOT in any shape or form, direct, or play a role in directing the movie...He gave information about Rupp....he gave his recollection of the game, the atmosphere the emotions,, etc, etc...

You should do some research my friend...It took me a whole 10 minutes..

He was technical director on the film. He says the movie should be mandatory for kids. As he put it: "I would recommend the NBA show it to all of its young players. He adds that the Texas Western team paved the way, and a lot of people don't even know it.

Maybe your research is flawed.

Man you are grasping....Like I said, do some research. ALso, understand the role of a technical director...

That’s all I ever said he was... a technical director.
Maybe you should understand what a technical director does before you claim I said something I didn’t say.

and all these have been dunked by real sources look let’s cut the shit you don’t want to be educated on rupps racial feelings you just want to find another reason to dig at UK because you have little man syndrome and you’ll do whatever you can to drag UK down to your level it eats you up and i love it.

Nope....You said:

Sorry that it went over your head also.

I understand the role(technical director). Its you who seemingly does not...BTW, Riley's name is nowhere to be found in the credits.....Not as an assistant to the director...Not as an assistant to the assistant, to the director. Nowhere...Why is that?

I know...But I know b/c I understand the label of, "technical director".

LET ME KNOW when you find Riley's name....
It took me a bit, but I was able to find his name using other's letters.

ah yes deflect anyone who is a UK researcher as a “homer” nevermind the fact the guy has talked to all of these guys who made the “articles and magazines” etc etc. that you listed. Nevermind former players have came out and said Rupp was not racist (Joe B Hall, Pat Riley) even his own son said he wasn’t so once again let’s cut the shit.

If the UK researcher can debunk the book by the assistant, then there isn’t much left. And those claims are certainly much more mild than the effigy and basically all revolve around the use of a slur. Which after further consideration isn’t enough to warrant calling someone a racists, although it def does have a place in the conversation.

Again, I just don’t think A racist would ever say a kind word to a black player, much less complement him and try to get his name out there to schools up north so he could go to college.

A racist would be more likely to call his buddies/coaches up north and lie that the kid wasn’t any good or overrated so that said kid wouldn’t get that opportunity.

Alright let’s get down to brass tacks here. We had hookers, UNC had fake classes, and UK has racism embedded in its history. SmokinSmile

Everything will be okay.
the first two are proven facts
the third is just assumption and opinion and a lot of Hollywood

BTW read why Patrick Ewing dropped UNC

Pretty sure slave owners were racist & they had no problem having sex & impregnating female slaves.
