That's not deflection. By believing that you're literally saying that anytime a discussion happens, when it ends, the person who said they were done is deflecting from the topic at hand. You're literally saying that anytime anybody ends a discussion that they are deflecting. They would have to never stop discussing the topic for you to believe that nobody is deflecting.
