Rosanne Lamar Bee Left/Right Slugjam

So, you're more mad at Kendrick for inviting a fan on stage than the girl saying the N word? And if she can't say it, he shouldn't say it/use it in his rhymes?

Y'all are on one today.

Let me make sure I got this correct:

Kendrick forced her to say the N word
Kendrick = Roseanne
If the girl can't say it, no one should be able to
Oh my god you are dense! It's a dick move , that simple by Lamar. I would of given zero shits about any of it. But it got mentioned on this thread so I looked it up. See I called him a dick. Not a Nazi , or Racist , or Bigot , or any of those fancy terms you smart liberals toss around. Shuck a muck!

And I said nothing comparing Lamar and Barr. Spoke on the 2 incidents completely separate. So stop making sh!t up , it discredits you.

Right! The situation was dead at that moment. The girl apologized and I think most realized she just got caught up in the moment and it was an honest mistake. But because it wasn't discussed on her BLAMING HIM for her saying that, some waited until one of theirs was caught saying racist crap to try to equate the both.

#SAD!!.

See my responses below. Is this scenario possible in your mind?

Did you watch the actual video? He wasn’t a dick to her. He stopped her when the crowd started to boo and asked her to omit using one word. She was embarrassed and he laughed it off. She tried again and was flustered and messed up the line. Rather than let her flail, he ended the skit.

Nowhere did it seem like he planned this out nor did she have bad intent. Best guess is that he got lost in the moment and pulled a fan onstage. She got lost in the song and let the N word fly. They made the best out of a bad situation.
1. Several people in this thread stated Lamar did it intentionally to embarrass the girl or make some weird point. It didn’t seem that way.

2. Did you watch the video? As soon as she started dropping the ‘N’ word, the crowd reacted. There was booing. He realized it was a bad situation and tried to defuse it. It was a no-win situation for everyone at that point.

The take away is that it appears to be an honest mistake from Lamar and from the girl. The comparison, sadly, was made to the Roseanne situation which is entirely different.

So it’s all the girls fault? Every bit of it? Kendrick made no mistake by bringing her on for that song? I think they both made an honest mistake, not just her.

Oh you smart conservatives and your huge vocabulary. Ambien

It's the fault of the people trying to make it a big deal when it wasn't. But, the way y'all are trying to excuse her for saying what she said is astounding. Be honest, did you really see the need for Kendrick to be brought up in this thread? Straight up.

No yourself and a certain other poster act like you guys are the most enlightened people on the face of the earth on these topics. You ask stupid questions to me , so I am gonna give smart ass answers back. Despite your potential pre conceived notions , not all southerners use the phrase "shuck a muck" either.

I didn’t bud, but it’s a discussion at this point so why not add my 2 cents. I’m also not excusing her, I just said she made a mistake in the post you responded to. I just think Kendrick could have thought it through a little better. That’s all I’m saying.

I Don't know if it was planned or not. I guess it would be hard to not pull a white person on stage, seeing how that crowd was majority white. And the fans that were booing were......... white. You know, so shocked and outraged that a white person had the audacity to get on stage and sing words to the song she was asked to sing. At the very least, he set her up for failure. If you don't want people using certain words, don't put them in your song and then have them sing it. Anybody who is upset about her using that word but not upset about it being in the song is not a reasonable person.

So you can make that leap despite video evidence that suggests otherwise, yet you have trouble suggesting Roseanne made a blatant racist joke. Instead you try and massage it by saying well she didn’t think it through.

Seems you are letting politics color your good judgement here

Now, back to Roseanne

And it's not by accident, either.

I am done jumping through hoops explaining my thoughts on Roseanne's comments. They are not as described.

As far as the video evidence, there is video evidence of a white girl in a crowd of mostly white people being brought on stage to sing a song full of N bombs and a white crowd full of white guilt booed, her. Then she was asked to omit the N word by the person who put the N word in the song and asked her to sing it. What am I missing here?

Lucky we are here to fight the good fight. A Dookie and a #UNCheat joining forces.

Of course, I knew. Glad you admitted it before blaming it on Ambian or calling it a mistake.
Admitted what? That I would sing the song on stage? It wouldn't be a mistake, it would be singing the song. Only an ignorant fool would claim it would be racist to sing the words to the song. Unless of course it was a racist song.

1. You used the Lamar example as someone who used their platform to ridicule a white person. That is not true.

2. The song is not full of n-bombs. It has that word in the chorus.

3. As soon as she started using it, Lamar realized it was a bad situation and decided to defuse it. He was polite and did not ridicule her. She meant no harm and he didn’t take offense.

4. While you readily jump to bash Lamar for something that was an apparent mistake, you quickly jump to defend someone, who made a blatant racial joke, as just an oversight or an accident.

It paints you in a bad light. Like you have an agenda. Refusing to see the racism in the blatant act while trying to find it where it doesn’t actually exist.

Why talk to you when you twist my words and blatantly lie about what I have said?

So the white girl that said it is the victim cause Kendrick forced her to get on stage and forced her to say those words. What? He was going to shoot her if she didn't say it?
Kendrick is a POS for doing what he did. It was racist. He knew what was gonna happen. He knows the words to the song. Roseanne is a POS for what she said/tweeted as well. See how easy that is? Just call a spade a spade. Me thinks you won’t, though.
