Tre Jones and #2 Apple Valley will be going against Minnesota commit Daniel Oturu and #1 Cretin Derham Hall for the 4A State Championship. Game starts at 8pm central/9pm eastern. It is available to stream live, but a day pass is like 10 bucks, so not sure if it would be worth it for one game, but I'll link it anyways.

Getting that group of frosh to play defense....LOLZ. Also only 1 ball to go around. They should start the season unanimous #1, but I'd be surprised if they finish there. Though K has proven he can get the zone to work.... so maybe.

I want Duke to fail next year but Zion can be an undersized 4 in college and dominate. He plays way above the rim at 6'6 260 and has pretty advanced ball skills for a guy his size and age so he'll present a matchup problem as well.

Reddish and Barrett are both huge long wings so they're easily interchangeable at the 2 and 3 and could also defend most college 4's for short periods. I'm talking physically ofcourse. Like most college freshman they're going to be bad on defense initially.

If bolden can't be a solid starting center(not great just solid) by his junior year than either Duke has failed him(I said that same thing about Kentucky with Marcus Lee before the Duke fans get upset with me), or was just wayyyy overrated. I still think they get ej Montgomery too though.

I will take a junior Bolden over EJ Montgomery. Bolden hasn't had extended minutes as THE guy down low this year, but he has shown significant improvements in big games in the later part of the season. I think he is going to compliment the freshmen well next year.

I am going back and forth on whether it would feel better to hit a long three at the buzzer or a dunk just in time. I will never know, so I guess it doesn't matter. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah and they only say that when Duke signs a stacked class. I never hear them or anyone else make that comment when Cal was signing 8 top 40 players. Weird huh?

Cal has never signed the top 3 players in a class, all of which are offensive freaks. Closest thing to that would've been Wall and Cousins. His best classes were predicated on defensive prowess much more than offense, especially AD and MKG.

I agree, Bagley and Carter should be the first and second options. IMO you feed the big dogs till the defense dictates otherwise. If that means Allen and Trent don't get a lot of shots so be it. The games Duke has lost I bet Bagley/Carter didn't have the most shot attempts.
