IDK if it's some unwritten code or whatever, but a lot of coaches won't foul when down by three.

Purdue lost a game because of the same exact reason this year.

Purdue was up 3 with like 7 seconds left. Tennessee player comes down and chucks up a 3 and it goes in of course. Game goes to OT and Tennessee wins.
