Maybe he is in it for the money. Certainly that should always be an objective for any company. But, he's also a huge free-speech advocate - and he's clearly not happy with the way Twitter is being handled. The Kremlin and the Taliban have active accounts - but, a former POTUS is banned - and a satire account, The Babylon Bee, has been suspended for the past month. I've done numerous searches on important social issues... and just about all of the top results are from leftist accounts. Musk, as well as most reasonable people, know that this is one-sided. Transparent algorithms would be a nice start. Bottom line, people are tired of this one-sided censorship.
