Tying education funding to the political survey results of students. Very dumb. Requiring schools/students to declare their political beliefs is also ethically questionable.
Expressly prohibiting public education curriculum changes that he views as politically influenced and in opposition to his views. Maybe not dumb. Actually savvy. But highly unethical. Pushing out beliefs he doesn’t support while pushing in beliefs he does support in early education.

Expanding ‘stand your ground’ laws to potentially allow for murder for property crimes. I don’t wholly disagree with stand-your-ground laws, but Florida needed to look into limiting its scope, not expanding it to allow you to blast Jimmy with a shotgun for breaking a window.
Expanding laws to restrict peaceful protests. If you protest peacefully but a handful of protestors turn violent, you’re all guilty by association, as if that’s something you can control. It’s intended purpose is to prevent protests in the first place.
