Good. Debt forgiveness is dumb. If they want to forgive debt they need to repay everyone that paid off their student loans too. But no, America always wants to reward the irresponsible ones....
Bruh, nobody cares about Memphis or the stupid bridge. 😆I hope stores a hour north and south the bridge, are saving their money. Hope the cities are as well, they'll need it to fix the wear and tear on the roads.
Memphis wanted to build a 3rd bridge, and I wonder with this crack, they'll get special treatment from Biden's plan. I hope so.
There will be a lot more ppl with money around Memphis during the construction.
Locals from politicians down to labor to salesmen are already lotioning their palms.
You make a good point. Whether intentional or not. If we're going to forgive anything, let's forgive interest. Not the loan.I have no problem repaying the debt. I do think interest rates being higher for students loans than they are for my mortgage and cars is weird though.
I just wanted to double check.Bruh, nobody cares about Memphis or the stupid bridge. 😆
That's definitely true as well. These lenders exist for the purpose of making money though, they aren't putting people through college to be nice. If they invested that same $100K (or whatever the loan amount is) into something else they should expect an exponential return on investment over the course of 10 or 20 years. They aren't giving you $100K to get back that same amount decades later.I think we should repay our loans. I'm currently repaying mine. But some of these loans are not much different than predatory lending. That wasn't the case for me but it is for some.

Even as shady and predatory as some loans might seem, all the terms are clearly stated and defined in the contract. It isn't like they are pulling the wool over anyone's eyes. You know going in what you are signing up for so there is no excuse to cry fraud years later.
Now, if we want some kind of reform it should start with the outlandish price of a college education to begin with.
Oh for sure, if I was 18 and you offered me $100K I'm not reading shit, just asking where do I sign.Right, the problem I have an issue with is the amount. You can take out way more than you actually need to pay for your school. I know that the person agrees to that but some of these people are 18 years old and don't know ****. Heck, I was 17 when I started college and luckily didn't have to worry about my undergrad but still, just goes to show the problem. It's hard to expect a teenager to make smart decisions like that. Again, I'm not saying we forgive them and agree completely about the cost of higher education. It's a huge problem.
Ugh, tell me about it. The socks are bad enough, but fitted sheets and women's shirts really suck to fold.

And after that, France surrendered
You gotta hand it to the French. Because they sure as hell ain't going to fight for it themselves. And after that, France surrendered
Nah, bruh, We paid them back and them some in WWI and WWII. They would be Germany West if not for MuricaShoutout to France for winning us the American Revolution, though.
