Abortion disproportionately effects black communities. They comprise less than 13% of the population, yet 40% of the aborted babies are black. I was listening to someone the other day that said 55% of abortion clinics are within walking distance to a black neighborhood (walking distance is designated as 2 miles or less).

This is from the CDC. Similar numbers for white and black women having abortions, except that there are 5-6 times as many white people in this country. So yes, abortion disproportionately effects black women.

Also, there were 623k abortions in 2016. So, perhaps the total is only showing 349k because some clinics didn't document the race of the mother. But, it's still a good sample size.

Only 1.2% of abortions even occur after 20 weeks.

That is aborting due to an inconvenience. There's very, very wiggle room for justifiably terminating a living entity.

I don't think God directly speaks to people often. I mean, if God were to just show up and make a big deal of things it wouldn't take much faith to believe. I understand the argument about that making it awfully convenient for people of faith though. I wish it was easy for me to believe. I'm naturally cynical, even about my own spiritual beliefs.

Science has proven there is no need for a god. I'm agnostic so I know what you mean. I am jealous of people who are strong of faith. It gives them a comfort that I don't have and probably never will.
