I love the Purdue fans in here completely forgetting what the thread looked like in 17-18 and every off season since.
Jay, you know you’re exempt from these type of jabs. Yes we have our fair share of slappies. Illinois though is a step up. You guys have a super young and excitable fanbase. Twitter mentions from any Big Ten writer talking about a team are constantly flooded with trolling gifs or the classic “Kofi > everyone” type responses. Never seen stuff like that before. Lol. It’s amusing tbh but you guys are everywhere.
CBS Eye on College Baskeball podcast asked 100 coaches whether teams should forfeit games if they have COVID issues. I think it was close to 50/50 yes and no but the most interesting thing is Norlander said there were several coaches who mentioned that programs could manipulate their record by engineering cancellations. Three different B1G coaches unsolicitedly commented that they thought Michigan did just that last year. I'm sure Underwood was one but I wonder who the other two were.

It’s fun to see how much it comes in waves. Few Illinois fans around here a few years ago, now it’s swarming. MSU has a down year and is projected to be a mid conference team and I’m probably the only consistent MSU poster on here now.
Wonder if we could get a bunch of Nebraska or Penn State posters here if they got successful.
I’m pretty sure we cancelled our easiest games and rescheduled our hardest games from that stretch. We need to get better at manipulating this stuff.

I dislike Michigan more than anyone in this thread and that is blatantly true. It would have been unlikely you would have lost those games. Not impossible, but unlikely.

No ones saying they would’ve for sure beat them. Just if we were dodgers it probably would’ve been smarter to reschedule Penn State than Illinois.
Michigan played Illinois because even with Warren leading the Big Ten, they would’ve questioned that move.

Once it was postponed, we had 5 games to make up. We made up the 2 hardest and ducked the 3 easiest. Dummies in our front office.
