Why do you say this? Just curious. As someone who has been very wrong about OSU the last few years, I’d be interested in your answer.

Not sure if I worded it correctly. I wasn’t saying Osu will be better because Washington left, but I expect the 2021/22 team to be better that 2020/21. I obviously make that statement not knowing the status of Liddell and if he leaves then Osu will take a major step back.

Last year at this time many thought Osu was taking a step back because of the loss of Wesson and felt they’d struggle to score. I had a strong feeling the offense would function much better without him and also look much different. I expect the same to be true this year.

What is Purdue's football lookout this year?
Hard to say. PFF has it as the 4th toughest schedule in the country, which is asinine when you are trying to rebuild into a winner.

Frankly, with that schedule, I'd expect somewhere between 4-8 and 7-5 and am hoping for at least 6-6.

4-8 or better would be solid imo. Would be his first time improving in the win total column and with his own players at that. Would be positive momentum.

I don’t think we do. 80 mins at the guard spots and Brooks will take 30. Need 50 minutes between Jackson, Collins and Bufkin. The good thing about Brooks potentially returning is he can play both the 1 and 2 so he can fit around those other guys perfectly.
What about the Howard kid?

Jace Howard is a deep bench player who comes in with the walk-ons. Though I’ve seen enough from him to think he could be a rotation player as an upperclassmen.

His younger son Jett Howard will be a freshman next year

Not sure why people keep slotting in Brown at the 2. He played there somewhat this year out of necessity but a 2 typically needs to be able to dribble. That lineup would get pressed to death. I’d expect Brooks and Bufkin/Jackson get all the minutes there.
Collins

It doesn’t mention them but doesn’t say they are gone either. Maybe they think they just won’t start.
Brooks is returning but what makes you think Brown will return? Hope he does. Him taking that last shot vs UCLA would have been a better bet then Smith

So, whose players are making bank with NIL? It's going to be the Wild, Wild West for a bit.
