Well to be fair, that’s a pretty disturbing story. Just as bad as some of the things out of other B10 programs later.Still obsessing over Haas I see. Yikes.

Dont think you can beat that dead horse enough. I’ve literally never heard of something like that before. It’s disgusting.Didn’t say it wasn’t disturbing. Jimmy is beating a dead horse though and has mentioned it probably a good 20 times if not more.
Conviently ignores Haas injury and that’s fine. That’s your MO. Purdue fans weren’t wrong. Most Purdue fans including me didn’t think IU would be good last year, and they weren’t. You can hang your hat on that “finished 6th” in the conference technicality all you want, still doesn’t change the fact that IU was dog shit last year. Lol. But congrats man, you were right on IU finishing 6th in the conference! Sweet!Where did I say it was some sort of accomplishment? I’m touting being right and you Purdue fans being wrong. And considering we’re talking about being right with projecting the standings this year or where our teams finished, it actually has some relevance. Y’all thought I and others were crazy for thinking 6th was possible. You guys were wrong. So I think it adds credibility to IU fans when projecting their standings and discredits whatever some of you Purdue fans (homer ones) think. I was Wrong with regards to how good Purdue was last year offensively, but pegged them in the B10 and Tourney results exactly. But then again, they weren’t anything special last year considering how bad you say the B10 was. All you guys did was beat up on bad teams and you still don’t have anything to show for it. Whoooooops.
The suit was dropped.Dont think you can beat that dead horse enough. I’ve literally never heard of something like that before. It’s disgusting.
CAPS make your opinions better
Facts matter little bro. You said IU wouldn’t finish anywhere close to 6th. They finished 6th. You were wrong. I was right. You all thought Purdue would finish higher in the B10, they didn’t. Some thought Purdue would go farther in the tournament, they didn’t. I said the S16 was their ceiling. I was Right.Conviently ignores Haas injury and that’s fine. That’s your MO. He’s still a POS for doing what he did. Literally a scumbag. The suit was dropped.

Doubt many Purdue fans were projecting better than a 30-7 season with a 15-3 record in conference after losing an All-American the year before. I was optimistic about being a top 20 team but they even exceeded my expectations so I’m not sure what Purdue fans you are referring to.Facts matter little bro. Feels good man. Feels real good. I can help you with your projections if you’d like, you need it.
Purdue fans were overly optimistic about the season and y’all didn’t finish as high as people thought and didn’t go as far in the tournament. You beat up on bad teams. Can’t have it both ways. Either the conference sucked and y’all weren’t as good as you thought, or you have to give IU credit for doing what it took to finish sixth in the conference.Doubt many Purdue fans were projecting better than a 30-7 season with a 15-3 record in conference after losing an All-American the year before. Haarms would beat out that slug Davis easily.Purdue fans were overly optimistic about the season and y’all didn’t finish as high as people thought and didn’t go as far in the tournament. Either way, there isn’t a person on Purdue’s roster that would start for IU other than Edwards. None of your starters would crack our top eight man rotation.
Maybe. So maybe Haarms would be the eighth man. Think that tells people enough about the two teams.Haarms would beat out that slug Davis easily.

So to summarize the last couple of pages:
IU has questions but their fans are confident they will be overcome.
Purdue has questions but their fans are confident they will be overcome.
Sounds like the offseason.
only three things are guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and the iu-Purdue offseason flame-fests on this board. good times:

Haarms would be your starting 5.Maybe. So maybe Haarms would be the eighth man. Think that tells people enough about the two teams.
Yeah but have to consider Davis is coming back from an Achilles injury. He won’t be ready to go by the start of the season and likely not to the B10 season. My guess is he’s not gonna be in great shape. So Haarms would probably log those backup minutes at the five.I was thinking about that and I think Davis is the better offensive player but Haarms is night and day better on defense. I think it’s a toss-up as to who’s the better player.

Finishing 2nd in the big ten wasn’t as high as people thought? Weird. Purdue had the 2nd ranked offense and 31st defense in the nation with SOS of 34 which was 3rd toughest in the big ten I believe behind Mich and Wisconsin. Call it what you want but it was a good season. But y’all didn’t finish as high as people thought and didn’t go as far in the tournament. You beat up on bad teams. Can’t have it both ways. There are no asterisks next to your tournament history stating you had an injury. Fact is, you didn’t make it as far as some thought. We didn’t go as far as far in the tournament because our most impactful player broke his elbow. Your argument would be legit if Haas hadn’t gotten hurt.
Nope. Fitzner will start at the five. He’s a significantly better shooter than Haarms which is something we need. Not a chance he would start.Haarms would be your starting 5.
Who did you best of note? UM, who after that?Finishing 2nd in the big ten wasn’t as high as people thought? Weird. Trying to say Purdue didn’t beat anyone is pretty laughable when IU didn’t beat a single team that made the tournament.
You all thought Purdue would finish higher in the B10, they didn’t
I said the S16 was their ceiling. I was Right.
Well I considered all of these really solid wins at the time.Who did you best of note? UM, who after that?
Nope. Fitzner will start at the five. He’s a significantly better shooter than Haarms which is something we need. Not a chance he would start.
huh? not sure i recall any of our fans predicting higher than 2nd a year ago. i mean MSU was so heavily favored at this time i don't think anyone had a different team predicted to win the league
c'mon snu, you're better than this. the ceiling was better than s16 with Haas, no question. that's like saying UVA's ceiling last year was the 1st round
Well I considered all of these really solid wins at the time.
@UM UM @MD before they got hit with injuries Butler (twice) @Marq Arizona Louisville when they were ranked 16th and playing well. @IU which is always tough.
Well you’re trying to paint a picture that Purdue wasn’t that good and just played nobodies and I’m trying to throw out, ya know, actual stats/proof why that isn’t true.Who did you best of note? UM, who after that?
Y’all hang banners for those offensive and defensive rankings? Did that win you the B10 or the NCAA Tournament? Whoooooops.
Nope. Don’t think so. Fitzner being able to spread the floor and knock down the 3pt shot is way more important than the incremental benefit of Haarms’ defense.Lol no. Haarms would start over Fitzner especially if Archie is a defensive-minded guy.
Who said that? Who said Purdue wasn’t good or didn’t have a good year? I’m simply saying that IU fans were right with their predictions and Purdue fans mocked us in the offseason last year. We’re conveniently going through the same thing this year which is why I’m pointing out y’all don’t have any credibility when talking about next year.Well you’re trying to paint a picture that Purdue wasn’t that good and just played nobodies and I’m trying to throw out, ya know, actual stats/proof why that isn’t true.
Arizona was garbage. Marquette and Louisville, Butler and Maryland were average. Both UM wins were good, I give you that.I guess those aren’t good wins lol.

Where are all your predictions that you were so right about? I do remember you predicting IU would be a bubble team but you thought they’d be on the right side of the bubble.Who said that? I mean Arizona was a 4 seed so I don’t think that equates to them being garbage.Arizona was garbage. Marquette and Louisville, Butler and Maryland were average. Both UM wins were good, I give you that.

Turns out their bubble popped before the big ten season. Whoooooooooops. You therefore have no credibility in preseason projections by the laws of SNU.
Jesus. Yes, Haarms is a good defender. He’s not the next f’ing Anthony Davis. This is why I laugh at Purdue fans. If you don’t suggest their players are the best thing EVER they get sensitive.Incremental? Wow. Did you not watch Haarms play defense last year? Clearly seems like you didn’t.
And how many games did they lose in a row when Purdue player them? Oh, that’s right.I mean Arizona was a 4 seed so I don’t think that equates to them being garbage.
