Yeah, @Middawg wasn't even worthy of a response with the weak troll job. Catchings is almost certainly going to be a Boilermaker but if he's not, I don't think he ends up at another college. He either stays at OT Elite or goes NBA (if eligible).
Think we all are. My big thing is how does the offense evolve without the main TJD focus? I think defensively we'll be pretty good. Offensively, I am not really sure what to expect.
I think there’s a lot of potential with guys like Ware and Mgbako but it’ll be interesting to see who they go to when they need a bucket. Last year it was TJD or JHS but this year it’ll be probably XJ and?
Scary, thought. Hopefully Ware can "replace" TJD, and X can be as productive. Lots and lots of questions with this team.
I think we're gonna get production by committee in the post this year. Reneau is gonna be good, but the other guys I think will rotate in and out.
I still have no idea why Walker transferred to IU honestly, given their roster makeup. They kicked the shit out of IU in the tourney and he likely won’t get a ton of minutes for them. Seems like there were better fits elsewhere
I'm not ready to say who will or will not get minutes. Clearly we know Ware and Reneau will get minutes in the front court, but I'm not sure how the minutes will be spread for the rest.
I fvcking love college bball but I’m not ready to get mad at the refs yet lol definitely the most frustrating of all sports when it comes to officiating IMO.

Hardest game in all of sports to officiate. 10 dudes....strong, athletic, fast---speed---confined tosuch a small area----Where contact is illegal----but legal.

Its frustrating at evety level. I think the NBA is 10X worse. No idea what a travel is.....HS can be just as bad.
Even though I officiate, and have done so at the college level(D1)---I get frustrated. And wait until the new "charge/block" takes center stage.
TBH man, there really is no fix. The game is simply hard to call. Its very subjective. Contact is illegal, but not always. Just a hard game to call.
I am genuinely a bit perplexed by the Wisconsin love this season by projectionists and computer metrics. They return everyone on a broken roster*.

Not to derail---but IU healthy, certainly could have challenged. Losing your starting PG two games into cofnerence season, aint a good way to start.
I didn’t say they were getting predicted to win the league. Just that I could see how it’d be ironic for me to be griping about a team that largely brings back the same roster as markedly better the following season.
My contention is that fifth in the conference and first team out in the AP poll is too bullish. I’m confused on who is the breakout player on Wisconsin. Outside the one transfer, we basically know what most contributors are on Wisconsin. Essegian is the one exception, but I’d be fücking shocked if Hepburn/wahl/crowl suddenly make a leap
Edit: I’m likely also skewed by my thinking that chucky is a complete hog ball and limits any perceived ceiling of that team. Also, the coach stinks
