Yes. The main two guys that use to sunshine pump Illinois don’t post here anymore. They loved Groce. They had very similar names.

If he and Race come back, would assume Geronimo is gone. Would seem to be another year of poor shooting too unless you guys pick up someone in the portal.

Haven’t there been rumors about Geronimo leaving if both TJD and Race come back? Also was curious how Woody is going to improve your shooting ability from a year ago.

I trust Woody to get shooters.....He felt he was doing so with Kopp/Stewart. And to be fair, the first half of the year, Stewart was lights out-----and then, POOF....Kopp never materialized. BUt it tells me Woody understands the need for shooters. CJ Gunn could fill that role nicely. Hopefully with more run, Bates improves.....Geronimo actually has a nice looking shot. SO who knows---maybe those guys improve----Gunn can shoot it for sure. Get a dude , or two in the portal?
Certainly needs addressed---and feel comfortable Woodson will address the need.

I'd be surprised if Gunn is RS....A lot will depend I guess on the progression of Tamar..And just how good JHS is/can be. Which, IMO< he is gonna be really good.
I just cannot see Gunn getting RS....Not with the shooting needs. And the young man , IMO, is grossly underrated..
Akways tough to rely on true freshman for shooting though.

True---and a log jam for sure in the b/c.....TBH, I think Gunn is better than Leal, Kopp and even Trey(unless he can develop a shot---which is doubtful). I'm hoping Woody gets away from the, "playing upperclassmen" mentality....I think it hurt us last year, especially in the development of Bates/Geronimo.
Its not out of the question to possibly R/S Gunn.....But, and again JMO, I just think the kid is much better than being advertised.

Not that I know but I really don't subscribe to anything either. Every shooting number improved from last year despite losing our best shooters.

I'm pretty sure I've read on here that Izzo is a dead man walking. Hell even Woodson has averaged more wins/season than Izzo the last 3 years.
