How about the Big Ten standings? Do they mean anything? Even a little?
And yet that game meant more to you than it did for IU fans. But we get it. Head to head records and B10 regular season championships are all that matter to Purdue fans.
Now that does mean something. It would have been another nice Quad 1 win and made the resume look better. The loss didn't hurt and just made the Iowa game much more important which IU moved on and won.

Small world but he actually grew up in my old neighborhood and his family had to put their dog up for adoption because they didn’t have time to take care of him so my wife and I adopted their dog about a year and a half ago. Bittersweet of course but they knew it was the right thing to do.
It felt like the right thing to do. But it was awful because there have been a few times when his younger brother reached out to my wife asking if he could see the dog but I think his mom told him it wouldn’t be the best idea. So far they haven’t seen him since we officially adopted him but it’s still sad.
