So too have the people paid to watch his game, catalog each play, and record the stats from it. The only difference is they do it professionally without bias.
He has other skills. He relies on his catch and shoot ability far more than anything else.

So in a highlight video without watching the whole game, from just one game, I found 8 possessions from the 2 man game that resulted in points that Cline and Haarms were involved in. You really still think it’s only 50 possessions in the whole year? lol dude

I literally have been watching the clips on Synergy. Again, you're using anecdotes of Cline's best game instead of clips and stats for an entire season.
From yesterday's game:
1-transition
2- PnR Ball handler (defense commits)
2-iso (single covered)
5-handoffs
3-spot ups
I know you guys aren't all morons. The stats are real, and very accurate. Otherwise, your program wouldn't be paying $20k/yr for the access.

Well I hate to break it to you but those handoffs are part of a 2 man game (whether synergy registers it as such, I don’t really give a shit) sooo you’re just backing up the 8 I found in the highlight video.
2-man game is a set. It's not a play type that's directly measured by stats just as horns or other sets are not measured. If it makes you happy, Cline had 18.8% of his possessions result in hand-offs. So let's recap: 52% catch and shoot, 18.8% hand-off. Hell, if you're extra curious, 66% of hand-offs were off the dribble and 33% were stationary. He's predominately a catch and shoot guy. Tough shit. Get over it.

The reality is Purdue is in the elite 8 because the guy that’s “just a catch and shoot guy” willed the team to a win by doing way more than just catching and shooting, like he’s done all season. I don’t give a shit what some Illinois fan believes because he adheres to a software blindly. Like I said, agree to disagree.

The reality is that you think the professional statisticians who are paid to watch games and classify and catalog ever play are not just missing a play here or there, but are systemically misclassifying Ryan Cline's possessions because you feel like those numbers can't be right. It's absurd. If you have a different takeaway from those numbers, fine, but questioning the numbers themselves is asinine.
Yeah it’s pretty unfortunate. Hopefully he’s healthy by the time the first game of next season rolls around.
Get that season ending injury out of the way before he gets to campus.
