Somebody please hand Snu a dictionary.

You don’t think any of it has to do with developing that talent? Over half of Michigan’s early entrants have been ranked outside the top 75 I believe. It’s not like they are a bunch of one and dones.

Regardless, it (nba attrition) should be at least partially considered when comparing coaches.
Those are still higher rated guys than Painter is working with.

Wrong. What about Moore, Swanigan, Johnson, Eastern, etc.? You forget about those guys? His point still stands. Beilein isn't dealing with a ton of Top 10 type guys. I think you just need to face the facts that Beilein and Izzo are better all around coaches and Painter isn't on their level. The overwhelming majority of college basketball fans would agree.

Dan, Snu is hardcore triggered. You should take a little time and enjoy your spring break.
I'm actually having fun seeing you whine like a bitch about the difference between zero shot and close to zero. It rustles you to the MAX!

You didn't answer my question. You don’t think any of it has to do with developing that talent? Over half of Michigan’s early entrants have been ranked outside the top 75 I believe. It’s not like they are a bunch of one and dones. There have been a handful of guys that have gone from off the NBA radar to NBA draft picks.

So simple question: how much of Michigan's NBA attrition do you credit to player development?

Weird. Seems I was right all along. They're a delicate bunch, though.

It was fine when a Purdue fan said Jon Teske had no chance at playing in the NBA, but when you say Haarms is unlikely to be drafted you get shit for it. Why is there such hypocrisy?

Not even close. Keep trying though. I'm thoroughly entertained and it is allowing me to avoid filing these excise taxes.

Do you have that quote? Because I'd love to see it so I can call the dumb shit out too.

Hail, thoughts on beilein and the HOF? I’ve been assuming he’s a lock the last couple years, the msu guy a few pages ago thinks not. Guessing that was just a rival trying to talk shit?

Nah. Wouldn't be surprised to see him think about the next level though. There is a place in an NBA rotation somewhere for a defensive big that can hit 3's at an okay clip. That being said I'm positive he returns.

Nah no way he thinks about the next level IMO. Really doubt he’d make a team, not a knock on him but just the nba game now.

No way? That's a bit harsh. If Miles Plumlee can somehow land on a roster 8 straight seasons I think Teske might be able to carve out a roster spot somewhere.

@boilerzz

Couldn’t he have meant, no way he makes it this year?

I guess I read that different than you. You said something about Teske testing the waters this year so I assumed Otte was talking about this year alone.

Holy **** you guys really go out of your way to defend Purdue fans.

Speaking empirically ("no way") that Teske couldn't work his way onto a roster (even if he meant only in 2019/20 which isn't what I got from otte's posts) is acceptable but saying there is no way Haarms gets drafted in two years is unacceptable?

From what I got out of our conversation, Otte21, you just don't think Teske has the skillset/athleticism needed to make an NBA roster whether that be this year or next. (btw, I don't think that's unfair. A lot of good college players don't end up in the NBA)

I don’t really give a sht either way. Just asking the question to get context because the original discussion is probably in one of the pages I skipped.

It's seriously hilarious to watch this unfold.

If that was his intent, I agree that part is over the top. Teske has proven to be more able to guard on the perimeter than you'd think in looking at him. That's why I was pretty confident that Haas would be unlikely to ever play in the NBA.
