*Official* B1G In-Season Thread

But it isn’t a round robin and the BTT champion is more important anyway.

Do we know if Purdue had the easiest schedule in the B1G? That was always my favorite attempted diss at the regular season champion

10th hardest schedule. MSU 13, UM, 14, Wisky 12, UMD 4th

Going into today, Purdue’s schedule was 10th, MSU 13 and Michigan 14.
Yikes, didn’t realize all of the leaders had were 10+ in conference scheduling. This actually says a lot about the imbalanced scheduling. I think those three teams are clearly the best either way, but those stats are telling.

Team definitely has flaws no doubt about it. I’d probably rank it around 6th under Painter’s teams but with a guard like Carsen you just don’t know what’s going to happen.
Carsen definitely provides some upside, but there is the downside also. However, if the goal is F4 or bust, you always would prefer the higher ceiling than the higher floor.

Real talk, I do disagree with all the homophobic crap that gets thrown at you by the IU folks. For one, you aren’t gay. Second, maybe it’s because I left Indiana after HS and went to the East Coast for college, but I ended up getting to know a good number of LGB (haven’t met many Ts) individuals, and many of them have had it rough growing up. I used to make the f_g jokes all the time when I was a freshman, but learned quickly why they were offensive. We should all try to be more responsible, even on this board. I will now get off my soap box.
He throws around homophobic rhetoric a ton. Dude is just weird. Very pro-trump. Gonna rub off on his kids for sure.

Good God, they showed the conference records for the ACC on CBSSports and that is the most imbalanced conference. The top teams are so good, but the back half are just terrible. So so bad.

Whether or not it was dirty or an attempt to gain position is debatable, but whether or not Edwards stuck his leg out further than one would expect in that situation really isn’t. Since Edwards seems like an extremely cool and collective player I doubt his intent was dirty.
Pretty much every non-PU fan saw Edwards' stuck-out leg.
PU fans, on the other hand, disagreed.

Also, for people like SNU, an anonymous board like this is cathartic. A place to safely air out his homophobic/racist tendencies.

Normal basketball play that if didn’t result in injury no one would even be talking about

Like I says, it’s only dirty if there was bad intent to sticking his leg out like that. I doubt Edwards has bad intent. That being said, Purdue fans not even acknowledging that his leg was extended more than normal is perplexing and a maybe bit trolly from you guys.

Edwards normally extends his leg that much? Not that I’ve seen. Have other examples?
Nope but feel free to search for other calls where he was called for a block. I’m sure you’d find a couple similar ones. I’m not going to take the time to refute a silly take.

I don’t have any tape bro. Period. All I know is of course he tried to get in front of Law, but as very late into his junior year with no history of this and a guy this board loves to call “chucker” I doubt he’d put himself into foul trouble to try and harm Law.

Well, that’s in large part because they don’t have to play themselves.
