Do we know if Purdue had the easiest schedule in the B1G? That was always my favorite attempted diss at the regular season champion

The BTT champ is irrelevant. Winning or losing importance is relegated to bubble teams. ie . UM, MSU, Maryland. Wisky or Purdue seeds largely unaffected. A 20 team slate is clearly more important.

Once upon a time the regular in season Championship meant something but with the 14 team conference and its ridiculously unbalanced scheduling every year it really is becoming somewhat the luck of the draw...

I watched him play against DeJulius in high school and couldn’t believe Izzo offered him a scholarship. He can’t defend at this level and can’t create offense. He’s basically a 5’10” spot shooter

How was he a 4* #65 rated player? I believe Coach Painter wanted him as well at one point.

I watched him play 4 times and was extremely impressed all 4 times. He won Mr. Basketball and lead his team to 2 straight state titles. But, I did agree I thought he would struggle in college.

5’10”? That seems...generous.

He was a great high school player, no doubt. Just doesn’t have a game that would translate well to college. Similar to Joe Girard who Michigan was after for a while who I wanted no part of
