I can understand someone enjoying college more than the NBA, but the NBA product > college product, without a doubt.
I used to enjoy college way more, but over time I'm getting sick of certain aspects. Free throw shooting contests because of the terrible refs. Games lasting 20+ minutes longer than their scheduled time slot, because of fouls. Tick tack fouls. Guys that can't shoot. etc.
The NBA is just a better product, IMO. Everyone on the floor for pretty much every team, is a threat to make a shot. Contrary to the often repeated "they play no defense" - they play much better defense, with much better athletes. The refs let them play, no ticky tack fouls. Its just funner to watch, for me.
I really don't understand posts like this. Aren't we just having a discussion?
The officiating has to be the most frustrating thing for me with college basketball. The inconsistency is frustrating.

Speaking of timeslots, I don’t think I’ve ever seen an nba game start on time.
Of course it was. It's Snu. He posts more about Purdue than he does IU. But I don't understand the logic that suggests we aren't allowed to respond without it being just simple rhetoric. Y'all have some goofy ass rules.
Yeah, that's not true at all. It's not close, either. But then again, you're the self appointed board monitor telling people who they can post about and what they can post, so maybe you're right. It's just too easy to get you rustled.
Oh, and you saying I post more about Purdue than IU proves I live rent free within the Purdue fanbase. It's hilarious.
You have to remember that this is the guy who still can’t admit that he was way off on McRoberts over Cline. Cut him some slack.
So for next season, what do guys think if we create a separate IUPU thread, besides the regular in-season one?

Nope, inconsistency doesn't exist because you don't really know what you're looking for, and must supply examples of the inconsistencies you believe are taking place to the proper officials in order to prove that such inconsistencies did exist?
Right, resident message board referee whose name shall not be mentioned?..............
(i.e. the refs don't actually suck because we don't understand what they're looking for.....but they're certainly not intentionally making mistakes, not that said mistakes exist)
Okay at least that's what I've been told by two former refs on Rivals message boards anyways..........that and the big bad mean players are so much bigger and faster and stronger now.
Is my point getting across yet, because I could keep going?....
