Damn, we have 17 offensive rebounds.
MSU simply isn’t that big. Ward 6’8, Tillman 6’8, Goins 6’7. Those are our 3 bigs.
Trevion Williams only bright spot for Purdue tonight. What the hell happened to everyone’s shot?
MSU is closing out really really well. A hand in their face almost every time. Rarely get and open look.

Matt McQuaid clamped up Carsen Edwards. The best defender on our team. Not super flashy or gets a ton of steals but just really really sound. Closes out extremely well without fouling

This period without Langford may end up helping this team. Too many times we would just rely on him to set the tone. Cassius has had to take a bigger scoring role and Henry, Ahrens, and Brown are getting more minutes.

2-2 with losses at Michigan and MSU....about the best that could be expected by any of the 12 teams not residing in Michigan this year. There is still plenty to play for.

For Wisconsin, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, OSU, and Purdue it’s going to come down to how they do against each other. Minnesota and Iowa kind of creeping below that group.

Yeah, I'm sick of dad-dicking the whole damn conference. Just jump to the final 4, so we have some real competition.
Yeah I was just teasing some of the outrageous predictions made by a few of our favorite Purdue posters.

No harm against Illinois, by the way congrats the commitment of Kofi. If Underwood hangs on to some of that core then Illinois should be much improved going forward.

I've already said this a couple of times this year, but if Painter gets this team to the tournament it will be easily his most impressive coaching job to date.

I wasn't offended. We aren't good right now. I'm aware of it. I do like this core going forward. What really baffles me is why we're all of a sudden such a bad shooting team. This year and last year, we've lost a bunch of games we should have won. Many are due to youthful mistakes, but that excuse only goes so far.

I think our defense will benefit greatly from an imposing big in the lane. Right now, there is no incentive for guys to take it right to the hoop. Bezhanishvili is a solid big and will be a hell of a player moving forward, but he's not great at interior defense. It's going to be refreshing seeing him at the 4 with Kofi at the 5 after having hardly any size these past two seasons.

Michigan vs MSU is going to be intense. Two very good teams

I think both teams are really good but probably a bit overrated. I think their schedules looked a lot better to begin the year. It will be interesting to see how the year develops.

MSU is about to go on a big road trip. 4 of 5 on the road. UM on the other hand plays Maryland and Ohio State once and they’re both home games. Florida doesn’t look too good and Texas is in a slump. Nova is getting better but to begin the year they were a new team. It helps with perception of the Big Ten but I have my doubts.

I think Duke is just a silver back gorilla ready to donkey stomp everyone in the NCAA tournament. Kansas was looking dominant until Azimbuke (sp) got injured for the season. We’ll see.
