*Official* B1G In-Season Thread

Kenpom has Purdue as the 6th best offense in the nation and IU at 36. Statements like this is why everyone here calls you a homer. 30 shots from longe range or not, Purdue has the better offense. Every single Purdue player who played against Iowa scored while IU’s bench just laid a goosegg @ Michigan.

Yeah, because Purdue looked so much better against Michigan than Indiana did.

Purdue’s bench shot 5 for 21 from the field can mjchiganz. That’s under 25%.

Odd flex.

Both games have been at Michigan. Lets revisit after your trip to Bloomington. Which, you guys could win. Very good team. Miller has had the misfortune of facing two, really good Michigan teams, on the road, in his first two seasons. Lets give it some time.

Of course we should give it time. And overall record is not a fair comparison because Beilein has an established program already.

Purdue also laid an egg at Michigan.

Ok.. Got it. By the slimmest of margins---but, hey---thats cool. I'll take our offense over an offense that chucks 30 three's a game.
The 2018 National Champions chucked at a higher rate than 2019 Purdue. Would you trade for their offense?

Yea let's compare Iowa's defense to Michigan's. Lol what a clown.

Ok. I mean , I get it....Does this give you some type of satisfaction? Personally, kinda of thought you were above third grade retort....Apparently not. Goes back to what I have always said---"You just gotta always be right"...And when you are, you need a "atta , boy".

Idk. Just doesn’t excite me and especially not for how much it would cost. I’d rather get season tickets to the brewers or something than spend two weeks in Italy.

Lot of cool shit to see out there, but everyone has their preferences.

I'm stacking credit card points for a Euro trip later this year. I want to go about a million places though, and time is the biggest constraint.

Same for me. I feel a little weird for not having this huge world travel itch that others seem to have, but there's just so many places and things to do here in the States that interest me more.

I’m sure there is, but I think there are a lot of cool things to see here that I still need to do. Our big trip this year is going to be to Boston. Gonna got up the Sam Adams brewery, a Yankees/Red Sox game, etc.

That may not be as cultured as seeing the London bridge or something but sounds a lot more fun to me.

You mean, "Carsen Edwards" is ranked 6th by Kenpom. Everyone on here knows, you shut down Carsen---you basically shut down Purdue. So congrats----Your offense is better on paper. Unfortunately for you----KenPom doesn't know you are the "Purdue Fighting Carsen's"...

Cannot say that about IU.

IU's bench, due to injuries, was limited to Fitzner, McRoberts and Moore.

But hey, congrats on your bench scoring some garbage buckets vs an awful defensive Iowa team...

I always defaulted to French when the people didn't know English despite there being no indication they spoke anything but Italian. Did that with a Portuguese guy once before realizing it made no fvcking sense.

This is the only part that scares me about travelling. I can't even default back to my high school Spanish days because weed and alcohol have destroyed my memory of it. I would always want to blurt out 'Donde esta la biblioteca, Pedro' from Dodgeball.

Dude. You’re the last person outside of Mgkcbb to be calling anyone a homer or even criticizing anyone’s take on college basketball. You’re the second biggest idiot behind your boy. You do know that everyone here points and laughs at y’all on GBI, right? Lol.

They had more than just one dude, doing the chucking---Or two.

So, ummm, yeah. That team had multiple options, from multiple positions, and from any position on the floor.

Great comparison....Laughing

I can get on board with this. Roadtrip is phenomenal, but Eurotrip is equally as good if not better.
Its because roadtrip you expected to be good, but Eurotrip was that movie you were watching because it was the only thing on. Or, its because you had that one friend who dragged you to see it. It snuck up on you because you had zero expectations going into it.

Definitely a ton of things to see in the US. I still have places I want to get to here as well, but focusing on the harder to do trips before the eventual family starts building.

London would be alright, but there are a lot way cooler places. Italy like you mentioned, has a lot to offer. Rome, Venice, and the Vatican for history. Beaches in the Mediterranean. The dolomites. Etc.

I wpuld like to visit: Japan (for the culture and to snowboard), New Zealand, Greece, Croatia, Amsterdam, Iceland, Thailand, Istanbul, etc.

A game that never got under 12 points after the 11 minute mark-----------of the first half.

That vaunted, 6th rated KenPom offense scored less points than IU..Laughing And we were without Phinisee( starter,) AND Davis.

Completely agree. Love traveling with my family. Croatia is quite beautiful and I loved Iceland. Would love to visit Japan.

Bro I'm telling ya they're worthless, just laugh at them.

It's why I got banned on their board, they were talking about how they never wanted Romeo Langford(after IU signed him) , I quoted a few of them, said LOL (that's all I said) and I got banned.

I swear, it was ridiculous.

Nah, they aren't that cool of a company anyway. Though I am trying to push for them to send me to one of our sites in Poland this year.

Credit card points can go far if you play the game. I have like 400k Chase UR points so far, which can pay for the majority of a big trip for a couple weeks if planned right.

Yeah man take away any teams best scorer and their offense suffers. Wonder what IU’s offense would look like without Morgan? Bad argument.

IU can be called the fighting Juwan and Romeos then I’m guessing? Do you think if you repeat that Carsen is a one man show often enough it makes it true. Purdue is averaging 79 points/game Carsen is averaging 25.5. You do the math.

I highly recommend visiting the Harpoon Brewery as well.

I don't know how long you plan on staying but if you're renting a car and have the time, you should definitely take a drive up the Maine coast, even if just a day trip.
