Derrick Rose 3 pt %: 46. James Harden 38.9. Clearly Rose is by far a better 3 point shooter......

other than the fact that harden makes 3 more per game than Rose and strictly comparing % without volume/makes per game is just not how stats work.

Do they play for IU and PU?

Josh Langford out again against OSU.

That really sucks. This guy was averaging 16 a game until he got hurt. I hope we can still take the win.

not denigrating him just fed up with it being turned into a media vent all fall during FB games, why not instead why not pay/give more attention to the hospitals that care for these people. is that to much to ask? sorry but my Grandfather died because of Cancer and 2 of my Uncles died from Cancer.
We've all been touched by cancer. I lost both parents and a step-parent to cancer.

If you don't like to see his stories, you can turn the TV off. Your position makes you look petty.

Why are IU fans so hurt about this fact? Just because you have a higher overall shooting % doesn’t mean you’re a better shooting team. You guys get to the rim way more than Purdue. You’re really counting Juwan Morgan layups as jumpshots?

Purdue has better shooters on its roster. I don’t get why that’s such a big deal to you guys. Lol. You have the better overall team. It’s no big deal in admitting that. Just like it shouldn’t be that big of a deal in admitting that Purdue is a better offensive/shooting team than IU.

I don’t think SNU is saying Indiana is a better shooting team. I think he’s saying the gap isn’t nearly as big as Purdue fans insisted it was.

I’d ban someone for trashing Tyler Trent btw. That’s more disturbing than anything I’ve read in awhile.
NEVER SAID I was trashing Trent just the media.

as I posted earlier in the 1st game when Iowa did their 1st wave to the childrens Hospital there was a young terminally ill cancer patient that saw it and shortly after the game was over that child passed away because of cancer and it got very little media coverage. where was ESPN when that happened?

that is my problem with what happened.

Interesting note:

Team true shooting % rankings

Indiana 12th
Purdue 48th
Whoops. Gotta hurt Purdue fans’ narrative. Don’t know why it’s so hard for them to admit it. Really weird. But, I guess they dont really have anything else to hang their hats on at this point.

Exactly this. We heard all off season IU didn’t have any shooters. Now, we’re leading the conference (I believe) in shooting percentage and our 3pt shooting percentage is pretty much right where Purdue’s is. Now, Purdue fans are butt hurt over it. It’s hilarious to read their spin.

Kenny Goins misses an open layup. Can’t make mistakes like that.

Really wish we had Langford today.

We aren’t hitting our wide open 3’s. At all. 5 point lead erased because Ahrens, Goins, and Loyer have all missed open 3’s.

Do refs feel the need to keep the foul count close, even if one team is clearly fouling more?

Holtmann is a really good coach, he gives the buckeyes a bright future. Props to them ponying up the cash, too. He makes 7.15M/yr (3rd highest paid coach behind K and Calipari). Oddly enough, Izzo is the 4th highest paid, but "only" makes 4.36M/yr.

Of course. Caleb Wesson hits a 3 to end the half.

I swear I’m having deja vu. This is crazy. Close game, then OSU goes nuts to end the half

I don’t think osu is capable of playing better than they did those final 3 minutes. Wesson’s fatass hitting a 3? Ok

Those backdoor slips got them at least 3-4 buckets. They're playing great defense. Now got the momentum into half time.

MSU better wake up
