True, I am being a little hard on some of you. For the most part you guys have been pretty reasonable.

I do think Iowa missed Garza a fair amount but some of Purdue's young players are starting to figure things out. If Wheeler, Hunter and Williams were playing as well early as they've played the last few games, we are probably 11-3 instead of 9-5. Haarms also seems to be much more comfortable coming off the bench. Smart move by Painter there.

I knew the season would be a work in process. Just hope we can get enough wins from the gauntlet to get back to the dance and give the young guys that experience. I'll take a 2-1 B1G start for sure.

So, my take that Purdue was going to be a better 3 point shooting team than IU was a bad take? They have a better percentage while playing a much tougher schedule and they have made almost twice as many 3’s as IU. Only one person would care about that take, so, you kind of outed yourself.
A bad take is your advice during the summer when you were telling people on this board that a good investment was to buy FANG. How’s that working out for you?

Iowa is down to 7 scholarship players tonight. not having 6'11 Garza and having to rely on a pair of 6'9 players no matter how good Cook is they did not stand a chance on Purdue's court and Purdue is feeding off the emotion of that kid that died of cancer.

the announcers make me want to puke. its a insult to every kid at St. Judes, Shriners Hospital and kids in other hospitals fighting cancer, even Fran's son Patrick had a fight with cancer.

the flop is alive and well, goodnite all I am not going to listen to the announcer and watch a team that is down 5 players.

I like Baer BUT he is not a starter. Cook is a PF not a center. again injuries makes Fran use players out of position and players that should come off the bench and use them as starters.

Most people didn’t need to see a loss tonight to know Iowa isn’t making the tourney. They knew months ago. Only Iowa homers were fooled by a couple of early mediocre wins. Just delaying the inevitable.
