Honestly that is probably more impressive than anything the 2017-2018 basketball team did.
At the end of the day, it’s a bad loss but the future is still bright IMO. If anything, it shows recruits that they can come in and play right away. So we got that going for us, which is nice.
You've got to hope the recruits coming in can sure up the defense. It was a mismatch on that side of the ball today.
Purdue’s defense isn’t amazing (obviously) but they were missing 3 starters today (2 DT’s and a CB) which hurt. One of the DT’s is off the team due to grades but the other 2 come back next year. Some of the top recruits coming in are on the defensive side of the ball. Have to hope they’re ready to contribute right away. Hopefully Karlaftis can make an impact right away.
they better hope that WR Bell didn't watch that game, playing in a pass happy offense is one thing but to play on a team that gets destroyed is another
Purdue has always been a thorn in Iowa's side. until Hayden took over in 25 straight season Purdue never lost to Iowa. in fact they lead the all time series over Iowa.

I agree. Going to bowl games already with hazell talent. It took him one game vs osu to do what harbaugh/um fail to do every year. Brohm is doing a great job recruiting. Looking forward to the future once brohms recruits assimilate in the program.
