Take out the whole IU/Purdue debate for a second. If someone looks at this objectively based on what type of player Bell is and what system he’d be playing in, it’s a no brainer it’d be Purdue. Debord versus Brohm? No contest.

You realize not every recruit looks at it the way you do, right? Just take basketball for example. Why are top rated recruits going to Memphis or LSU or WKU? Shit happens.
One game sample size is fun. Plus Blough was a beast and Sindelar was injured throughout the year. Will get a 6th year most likely.

Not excited about getting Bell. Never said we were. In fact, I said I was skeptical because I don't think we land him. I just like the insecurity of Purdue fans at the slightest comment that the recruitment tightened up. Y'all collectively are about as insecure as any group of fans I've ever seen. It's beyond hilarious.

Surely not. How in the world could ANY recruit choose another school or the mighty Purdue Boilermakers? If we somehow land Bell, guarantee Purdue fans claim they didn't want him and he wouldn't have played much or we cheated somehow. Lol. I almost want him to come to IU just to see the reaction from Purdue fans. It would be legendary. I'm talking MJ18 after the Purdue loss to Iowa meltdown.

The only thing i think that hurts IU is their depth at WR. At Purdue he'll easily be their 2nd target. At IU he'll have to work his way ahead of Westbrook, Fryfogle, Hale, Philyor, and Reese Taylor.
