My money was on Illinois today, they just don't have enough for consistency. I feel like their record is more so based on schedule and the west than much else.
A win over a #20 Illinois versus unranked Illinois isn’t going to matter much in the grand scheme of things.I was hoping Illinois would be ranked high when we played them.

Your season rests on well you play Ohio State, like it does most seasons
Were we ever #12?Blowing out #12 Illinois would’ve been a nice fashion win
You want to not be perceived as a moron so bad. That's not even my point, argue better my guy. This is honestly rediculous logic for a speedway employee.
Were we ever #12?
I thought we’d split, but that optimism was misguided. No but I thought you’d beat MSU and Purdue so it was shaping up to be a pretty high ranked game.

Michigan 38-10 next weekend.
Hell we’ll be lucky to beat NW without Chase.
Maybe we sit our starters next week to get heathy for that game. LmaoPlease embarrass them. I’ve been raging on Fitzgerald all year on the home board. Need to see 1-11.
You're right, mistyping a word by one letter is so much worse than whatever it is you're doing. I honestly can't categorize what it is, it's that bad, you're a dum dum, just give it up.You want to not be perceived as a moron so bad.
Step 1: It’s spelled “ridiculous.”
I’d call it “triggering IUBtown”, but what do I know,? I’m just a moron working at speedway and Burger King. You're right, mistyping a word by one letter is so much worse than whatever it is you're doing. I honestly can't categorize what it is, it's that bad, you're a dum dum, just give it up.
The west and the east are the same if you split Michigan and OSU up. They always should have been split up. I understand that the fanbases want them to play every year though.Even if you take out Ohio State and Michigan (5-0 vs the West), the rest of the dogshit East teams are still 8-7 against the West.
They could still play every year. IU and Purdue play every yearThe west and the east are the same if you split Michigan and OSU up. They always should have been split up. I understand that the fanbases want them to play every year though.
We are going to Pasadena. Already got a good look at UM and tOSU. They can't beat us twicePurdue wins today and we win out, we are going to Indy!!
They could still play every year. IU and Purdue play every year
Edit: I guess you’d have the added issue of Michigan needing to play state every year too, but you could really just have OSU move. They’re going to need to throw geography out the window after the cali schools join anyways
If your only loss is to Ohio State, you’d have H2H over every team in the division.Having OSU as a protected rivalry while the teams we are fighting for division titles with get bottom teams would suck.
GOAT modern day* Purdue team

Are you really worried about losing a game in the shitty West? Or is it losing to Ohio State twice in one year that is the real fear?
No such thing unless we do a home and away with every single team in the conference. And that just isn’t possible.I just like balanced schedules. Sue me.
Disagree on both pointsGOAT modern day* Purdue team
Even though we both know the team from 1987-1988 isn’t as good.

Wouldn’t get your hopes up.Nope. But rotating the imbalance is still better than fixed games IMO.
That is most likely, although I guess they could put USC and UCLA in the West and send Purdue to the East (based on geographical locations).Any chance when USC & UCLA becomes Big Ten teams, the conference do away with divisions??
I wonder if Cooper DeJean (pick 6 links below) can join us in hoops after the Rose Bowl this year?Iowa over USC in the Rose Bowl to welcome them to the Big Ten?
87-88' Purdue team was really, really good. 29-4, 16-2. They were better than last years Purdue team, and/or the team before. I am still surprised that Purdue team(88) lost to fukin Kansas State. That team had shooters(shot 44% from three as a team) everywhere.GOAT modern day* Purdue team

Yep. We had beaten Kansas St (and Mitch Richmond) by 30 early in the year.87-88' Purdue team was really, really good. 29-4, 16-2. They were better than last years Purdue team, and/or the team before. Shit 86-87 team was just as good.
Agree. Best Purdue teams I saw were the 86-88 teams....2009-10 and 1994 "Big Dog" led Boilers. 2021-22 Purdue was good----but they were nowhere near as good as the above.Yep. We had beaten Kansas St (and Mitch Richmond) by 30 early in the year.
If I were to rank the best Purdue teams I’ve seen, I’d go:
2009-2010 - The team would have been #1 in the country the following week had Hummel not torn his ACL and we lost to MSU in late February.
1987-1988 - The three amigos were so damn good And we had very good pieces around them.
1993-1994 - Big Dog’s last year. He was arguably the most dominant player in the last 30 years. He’s the last P5 player to average 30 and 10. If he doesn’t get hurt,I think we beat Duke and make the Final Four.
2016-2017 - That team was loaded. Biggie, Carsen and the 4 juniors (Haas, Vince Edwards, Mathias and PJ Thompson). Almost certainly the most talented team Painter has had (but not his best).
2021-2022 - Ivey was obviously talented but inconsistent and our 2nd and 3rd best players played the same position. Our other starters were Sasha, Hunter and Gillis. That’s nowhere near a GOAT team. Becoming #1 the first week of December was nice but we weren’t close to the most talented team in the country.
I still think there’s at minimum 7 tourney teams from this conference and will likely be 8. The ACC is still down and the big ten is the largest benefactor of thatNewest AP poll is out
12 IU
19 Illinois
20 Michigan
26 MSU
27 Purdue
32 OSU
34 Iowa
40 Rutgers
46 PSU
Nice to see 9 B1G teams getting votes in a down year for the league.

I think the Big 12 would disagree but that's in part because they only have 10 teams. We are down at the top, but still likely have the best depth of any conference out there.
They only had 6 teams in the tourney last year, and will likely have less teams than the B1G this year again.I think the Big 12 would disagree but that's in part because they only have 10 teams.
6 of 10 is 60%. What is 8 of 14?They only had 6 teams in the tourney last year, and will likely have less teams than the B1G this year again.
