****Official B1G In-Season Thread****

At least you stopped pretending your football team was relevant.
We are in year 2 of Bert. If he can recruit/attack portal hard, we’ll be pretty relevant. Much more so than Illinois has been.

I get it though, your team just got took the distance by 3 stars. Not a reality that’s fun to think about.

Look at you bragging about a loss 😂

Per @miktimrob, the same rules guy said that it didn’t look like JJ had control before his knee was off the ground.

Are you guys picking and choosing when he is the voice of reason?
I think that he pinned the ball against the ground. I don’t think that’s definitive control under the rule. He picked it up with two hands after lifting his knee up. It probably should’ve been reviewed and call would stand.

If the refs didn’t help you so much it might’ve gotten there
Yes. The refs were on our side.

Only the 3rd time you’ve moved the conversation back to the refs when I switch it somewhere else. Almost like you want to talk about it more.

Burt called Timeout. I'm sure they looked at it during the commercial put since it would stand didn't bother with formal review

I do because it’s funny seeing you guys blame
I said there were questionable calls that seemed to favor Michigan. If you can’t agree after trying your hardest to prove the “refs did it both ways”, you are just lying to yourself.

But nothing yesterday was on the level of shit calls we dealt with from the other crew.

Refs got calls wrong both ways.

Michigan sat several NFL level players yesterday, lost their Heisman finalist level RB at halftime when he already had 150 yards, and still managed to beat a team that should’ve been undefeated (if it wasn’t for refs handing them losses to IU, MSU, and PU).

Proud of this team.

Miami(OH) vs Indiana at 5:30. Interested to see how IU plays. Big, emotional hard fought win @ Xavier. This could be a "trap" after the fact game.

Prettty sure he has one more year (rs during transfer year) but he’s gone
True, I forgot about that.

He could use his covid year if he really redshirted after transfer. He’s played 4 years fully to this point tho and been in college 5 years.

More bad calls against Illinois, we’ve been thru the calls already.

You have a maybe offsides, that’s it.

You gave a good effort tho

When you guys had the ball with 3 minutes left, we called a timeout after your second down play. The clock was stopped.

Your 3rd down play was flagged for holding we accepted.

The clock started when the ball was spotted but it should have still been stopped from the timeout.

Ended up hurting Illinois in the end.

Doesn’t help your argument.

Do you agree that Michigan wanted the clock stopped there (hence the timeout)?

Do you agree that the clock should’ve been stopped?

Those should both be yes. But it wasn’t. Cheating refs!!! 🤣🤣

I’ve never said cheating.

Just incompetent. And yes, that call hurt Illinois in the end.
